Do I owe collection agency if I dont respond contained by 30 days?
I vacated my apartment within Oct 30th 2007. I owe the landlord 100$. I remunerated it in full on Dec 29th. I get letter from collection agency surrounded by the first week of jan. I didn't respond to it within 30 days, my mistake. Does this tight I have to discharge them again?I hate paying them twice. What are my option? I live in WA, USA.

I would send them a certified epistle with a copy of the check and statement from your innkeeper indicating the debt was remunerated.
as long as you have a unloading for the money paid you dont enjoy to pay it again but you do have need of to send them a copy. they wont sue you for atleast 4 or 5 months from first contact.So find youre delivery and tell them where on earth to go near it. and thats to there annals...If you dont have one you will enjoy to pay again wich i know is not party but with out a acceptance they can say adjectives year long you owe them the money.
