About best buy credit card and credit report.?
I got a best buy credit card a few weeks ago and used it that afternoon to buy an iPod Touch. I've also made a payment online previously any payment be due. I just today checked my credit report and at hand was no inquiry into any of the three agencies to get my card and my brand new credit account isn't showing up. Why is this? Do the Best Buy credit cards get much of a difference to your credit?Answers: Best Buy does not always appear on your credit report as "best buy". It appears as HSBC/BSBUY on my experian report.
Also, your report probably will not show the report until your first billing statement, as there is no details to report until the first billing cycle is complete. It then take a few days/weeks for the credit companies to add the commentary to your report.
The inquiry may or may not exist on your report, as not all inquiries win "put on your report"
It's a good reason to have on your history because HSBC Bank does other accounts similar to Visa/Mastercard acounts (My GM Credit card is via them too)
