How long can you hang about past reselling an item on ebay if grant have not be recieved?
You know how eBay gives you the luck to resell your item if the buyer doesn't end up paying or notify you of any payment arrangements? How long is that hang about period?Answers: Its close to this you wait 8 days until that time reporting the unpaid item. You wait another week till they settle up or ebay grant you a final convenience fee (FVF).
The buyer who did not clear gets a none sum strike and then you can resell.
Can i receive an earned income tax credit if i am unemployed but babysit and have three children??
Answers: no... i believe you have to have filed last year to get the rebate...
I see answers to two different questions so obviously someone doesn't know what they are talking about.
Earned Income Credit is NOT the 'refund' in the news right now-that is something totally different. That refund is supposed to be going out as a check to everyone listed in the tax rolls. Earned Income Credit is a deduction you claim on your taxes-IF you have children. So you must be able to file for tax forms.
Yes, you can recieve more money 'back' as a refund than what you paid in-because of 'earned income tax credit'. But you have to be able to legally file a tax return-if you have absolutely no income you can't file tax papers. I don't know if you can file 'on your own' to get it-I haven't seen paperwork for years. We use H&R Block to do our taxes for over 25 years now-and the first time we got that earned income credit we were shocked-knew nothing about it-and recieved BACK several thousand dollars MORE than we paid in. If you can't afford to go to a tax preparer-many community organizations offer 'free' tax help to everyone.
Ugh. Most of these answers are either wrong or off topic.
"Earned Income Credit is a deduction you claim on your taxes-IF you have children."
WRONG - Without children, you can claim eitc as long as you were age 25 on the Dec 31 of the year you are filing for. (eg. It's 2008, you are filing 2007 taxes, and you turned 25 dec 30th 2007)
"But you have to be able to legally file a tax return-if you have absolutely no income you can't file tax papers."
WRONG again - I'm sure entirely sure what you are trying to say here but either would be incorrect. You can legally file any and every tax paper available to a consultant on your own. They are freely available at the irs website. Also, you can legally file your taxes even if you had no income or your deductions showed that you owed zero. (for record keeping, tax credits, etc)
For you answer, Yes you will be eligible for eitc as long as you meet the criteria for the irs. Most automated software will allow you to add it and I think turbo tax may have a free online system that lets you add deductions and then print it off to mail in. Use the deluxe version.
Make sure you report your income under "business" or "other earned income". Otherwise you it won't count towards the eitc.
here is a chart showing how much you can get:

This calculator at the irs will let you know if you are eligible:
