Has anyone have their accurate credit mark run down because they get married and the partner have have credit?
Example: the other persons' debts start showing on their credit report or the companies come after the partner.Answers: That would be against the law for the creditors/collection agencies to inventory items on a spouses credit report or come after them for the debts. They simply cannot take a denial item from Person A and list it on Person B's credit report unless Person B is properly responsible for the debt. You could easily win a lawsuit against them below the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
The only exception to that would be if the debt/account be joint between the husband and wife, later they would both be financially responsible for it. Otherwise his debt is his, and yours is yours.
I've never heard of that. When I get married my credit was better than my husbands and it prevented us from getting wearing clothes home loan interest together but his debt wasn't on my reports.
How does credit tuning after marital?
My credit score is 570, but my husbands is 680. We are looking into possibly buying a cheap home. How does it work presently that we are married?Answers: How does credit change after conjugal? Simply put, it doesn't.
Your credit score will solely be affected by your bills/debts, and vice versa for him. The lone exception would be any joint accounts and/or debts.
if your husband make enough income to cover the cost of the home afterwards he's best applying for it solo and then putting ur identify on deed (but not the mortgage) . you'll find a better rate if you can qualify with his info alone b/c of his better gain.
