Does $1,770 bi-weekly equal a stipend of $47k per year?

I'm having trouble sympathy how getting paid $1,770 every two weeks would equal to $47k a year. If you do the math: $1,770x2= $3,540 monthly x 12= $42,480. Is in attendance something I'm missing here?

Answers: no there are 52 weeks within a year, divide that in partly, as you said bi weekly, so multiply 1770 X 26 you get 46,020, or amount 1770 bi weekly is 885 a week, so multiply 885 X 52 you get 46,020 if you do it monthly it wont come out right, because some months hold 5 weeks in them...so if you a moment ago do 1770X2 you are only accounting for 4 weeks surrounded by a month, not accouting for the months with 5 weeks

Are Canadian collection agencies allowed to put their pet name on the envelope?

I have of late paid my credit card within full, after a year or so of problems with money. After contacting my ridge, they referred me to an outside Collection Agency (Common Collection Agency). I was told I would receive a release communication in the e-mail about it. I'd prefer my house didn't know about this, so be wondering -- by law, do they own to omit the 'collection' part of a set of their company name on the front of the envelope?

Answers: Collection Agencies surrounded by Canada are governed by adjectives acts, here surrounded by Ontario it's the "Collections Act R.S.O. 1990", which prohibits collections agencies and their staff from a few things, but I've never heard of them have to "brown bag" their mailings.

As a previous answer stated they'd undoubtedly get contained by trouble if they printed "PAST DUE", "DELINQUENT ACCOUNT", "BAD PERSON OWING US MONEY" in red across the envelope, but displaying their business first name and address is not likely a vandalism of any of the rules.
Absolutely, they can pu their name on the envelope. They can't make a contribution anyone the details of your debt, but mailing something beside the company name is without blemish legal.

You may find, though, that the designation will show up as CCA Inc or something. For instance, a common Canadian collection company is Canadian Bonded Credit Limited. But they progress by CBCL, even in phone call. They aren't looking to antagonize people, simply get them to remuneration their debts.

If your family have issues, tell them it's private.
