Has anyone ever heard of genius credit repair?
Answers: no, i've never heard of but i can tell you that all of those credit repair places are a big rip off and you need to stay clear of them

you can clean up your own credit by pulling all 3 reports (for free) at www.annualcreditreport.com
go through it carefully to see if anything on there isn't yours; if there is then you can dispute it
for the remaining stuff that is yours; you can contact that creditor and see if they will do a settlement with you and get that stuff up to date
Although it will remain on your credit report for 7 yrs, it will at least show that it has been paid (10 yrs if its a bankruptcy)

I have not personally heard of them but in general credit repair places cannot do much more than what you can do yourself.
There is not a quick fix.
If your credit needs repair, the money that you pay to this company would be better used to pay down your current debt.
Often times credit repair companies charge in excess of 2k for things that you could do for 41 cents. (price of a stamp)
How long does it lift to grasp a Debt collection Refund?
I paid bad a debt to a debt collection agency and made a double payment by mistake. I rapidly asked for a refund when I found out then that week, and the refund have been contained by process for 2 months! I've been calling them every week to ask them the status for the return, but they always put in the picture me that they are "not sure" when it will be finished processing and when i will get the settlement back. Does anyone know if in that is any way I could speed up the process or if this HUGE DELAY is middle-of-the-road? I am really in call for of the extra $1000 I paid.Answers: I'm not sure what's middle-of-the-road under those circumstances, but I'm sure it's not that. Talk to someone surrounded by management or contact The Better Business Bureau. I'll bet this get worse before it get better. Good luck.

i now enjoy ZERO credit card debt! yipeeeeee!!of course, i still enjoy 29,000 in student loans (with low interest rates) and 10, 000 surrounded by car grant (with NO interest). but at least no credit card debt!

Answers: Excellent. Very good. Now use the money you would hold paid toward credit cards on the auto loan assuming you enjoy some sort of emergency fund in place.
