Credit Questions and Answers

Is it possible for a Credit Card Company to right to be heard that you owe them more money even though...?

you had a settlement next to them. And i even received a letter clich¨¦ that the account be settled. What do i do?

Answers: Send them a certified, return receipt communication with a copy of the settlement epistle. Indicate that the account be settled as per the attached letter and to correct their store.

Be sure to hang onto that settlement memo. It sounds like you settled for smaller quantity than the full amount and the balance be sold off. If that's the defence, you may hear from yet another collector on down the road.
Once you receive a settlement from them, contained by writing, then the jargon of agreement are settled. They can not come to you after the fact and ask for more. Contact them and donate to send them a copy of the agreement via certified post. Inform them you are willing to abide by those expressions and no others.

is it possible for a parent to open a credit card beneath their name for their teen[16 yrs.old]?

If the card is the same vindication parents use, with a child's term on it, of course the parents are stuck beside the same credit time limit as they impose on 16 year outdated.

Defaulted on a gym membership, if i pay it will it be taken off of my credit report? How long does i take?

Answers: It won't necessarily come off if you pay it. It may show in the 'derogatory' or 'closed' section of yor report complete with every late notation, etc.

What you'll want to do is set a payment arrangement with the gym and negotiate that once payment is received, they remove all lates and negative notations and leave the comment "Pais as ageed". If you've had the account open for over 24 months or so, you can benefit from the history and it may drop your score once removed.
Negatives stay on your credit report for 7-1/2 years from the date of first delinquency.

You could negotiate a pay for delete settlement with the collector. Some will, some won't. Be sure that you get any settlement agreement in writing and do not give them access to your bank account. You may be able to settle for less than the balance. Lump sums get the best deals. Any payment plan has to be short term.
