Repairing bleak credit, consolidating loans?
Try to make this a long story short... My fiance and I are looking to buy a investigational house. I have great credit, he make the money. The problem is, he cosigned on a car for his ex, who have defaulted on the loan, and he also have a few credit cards that he himself defaulted on when he be alot younger.
He wants to bring all this squared away, so we can repair his credit, and hopefully buy our dream home to start off our lives together.
My question is, where on earth do we begin? We've gotten his 3 credit reports, and score, and know what he has out in that. He has a few credit cards that are relatively low balance ($100-600), that have already be charged off, should we be in motion ahead and pay on those?
Is nearby anyway he could get a loan for these, next to his credit being so low?
I assure you making the payments at this point within his life are not a problem, we freshly don't know where to get going.
Answers: Being in the debt industry I can transmit you if you guys are planning to buy a house do not go into any program at this point or return with further into debt with loans. ..... My best direction go to a credit repair specialist don't do it yourself. Let someone who know what their doing take a look at it earlier you spend far more money then you obligation to . old debt wants to be handled differently or your chalk up will not get better it will take worse.
Getting a debt consolidation loan is the best idea. Especially next to a low interet rates. Heres a few pages next to consolidation loan links.
