CREDIT CARD i am out of work and claiming benefit but i recieve $500 from the gov. a fortnight and 500 from parents.?
i want a credit card for emergencies who or where on earth can i get a credit card from please help out!Answers: A credit card could be very precarious for someone with your finances, contained by my opinion.
Since you're dutiful with your parents, it seem you have that lifeline if at hand is a true emergency.
If you want a credit card as a convenience card, I'd suggest opening a checking picture at a bank, carry a debit card, and decline the line of credit/ overdraft protection. That road, you can't get into trouble overspending. The card will solitary work up to the balance contained by the account.

The more credit cards as long as you pay them= better credit?
Answers: Every card represents a line of credit that can be extended to you. So if you were trying to qualify for another loan - all those would count against you - as if you actually already owed those amounts.
Best to keep it to 2 or 3 cards.
Not really. At some point, a big stack of credit cards become a liability and work against you.
Even if you are disciplined enough not to run up balances, there are other problems with credit card accounts. You have to secure the cards and monitor all the statements to prevent theft or fraud.
I recommend that you have two major credit cards that do not have annual fees. Only keep store or gas charge cards if you have a special reason and actually use them. Always pay the balances in full.
Not anymore.
Here is what will happen. Multiple compainies will extend you credit to the point you can barely make your minimums (keep in mind it is federal law that you pay a minimum of 2.25% of debt each month).
Then, after you put yourself in a huge hole, the same companies will come back and double your interest rates even if you NEVER miss a payment and are never late. Why? Because you used the credit they so "freely" offered.
Don't do it. Get one good card with no annual fee and rarely use it always paying it off as quickly as possible.
Else you may be back here in a year asking how to get out of it and your credit will be destroyed.
The rules have changed and many Americans are drowning. Don't be another statistic.
Up to a point.
Part of your credit rating is based on how much you owe vs. how much credit you have.
A person who's maxed out (but still making payments) will have a lower score than someone who's credit balance is only about 20-30% of their max.
Car Loan Refinancing?
I am looking to buy a new saloon with my wife co-signing. My credit is horrible and won't know how to get a loan short her help. The question are: Will a year or two of paying the car loan payments near no missed or late payments plus keeping adjectives other credit payments on time build my credit enough(generally speaking) to eventually re-finance the saloon in my own describe a year or two down the road. Also, does this sound resembling something that can happen or does start a lot, re-financing minus the co-signer a year or two down the road? What does re-financing entail, fines, etc...?Answers: Start by conversation to a local credit union or two roughly speaking getting your initial loan, and how they might let you pocket it over by yourself in two years. This is the humane of stuff credit unions are polite at, and they can assist you over the two years in cleaning up your credit report etc...
