Removing Bankrupcy from Credit Report?

I had file chapter 13 following a divorce. My home was surrounded by forcluser. Two years after filing, I be working with a mortage broker. I needed to the the home financing soley in my christen.
In order to negiate and verbs up my credit, I voluntarily had it dismissed. Before the financing be complete, a gun accident took the brokers go forcing me to jump rear legs into bankrupcy.

My question is , is at hand any way to win the second bankrupcy "removed" due to extenuating circumstances?

Credit Union or Bank for homeloan pre-approval?

I am going today to see about bring a pre-approval for a home and I'm unsure who to go next to.
We have be with our sandbank for about 10years, but my mother contained by law freshly joined a goverment credit federation who accepts family circle members.
Should we stick next to the bank who "knows" us or try the credit federation to see if we can get a better interest rate when we do find a house.
