I enjoy a devout credit rack up, why can I not return with a mobile contract?
I have a moment ago checked my credit score through experian and it is 857 out of 1000. Yet I cannot obtain a mobile contract through any network service provider. Why could this be? I am not on the electoral role, could this be why?Does anybody know what sort of credit evaluation is acceptable to gain a contract?
The only debt I own is a lb500 overdraft which gets compensated in full EVERY month.

They can't breed as much money on someone who is reliable and pays up on time!

It is almost certainly entirely down to you not man on the electoral roll.
Ask your council for a registration form and get registered.
Then tolerate the likes of experian know so that they can update their online history.
857/1000 is a very perfect score and would suggest you enjoy a good recompense record on any current / previous credit services. But the obvious interrogate would be; why did they give you credit short you being on the roll.
A possible answer is that headset companies are far more likely to hold electoral roll registration as a pre-requisite for law enforcement reason. Police routinely check phone records when investigating a crime and will routinely contact mobile phone providers for the address of anyone who have been contained by contact with someone suspected of one involved in a crime.
Another possible idea is that you only hold one credit facility - a lb500 overdraft. Believe it or not your credit rating with most financial providers would be far difficult if you had 5 or 6 credit cards adjectives with a polite (12 month plus) payment history. I know that sounds perverse but it is nonetheless true.
Please also be aware that respectively time someone does a search your credit rack up comes down. So when you approach anyone for credit (mobile phone services or otherwise) make them definitely aware that they are not to do a search until they own agreed in principal to provide the credit / contract you are asking for.
Those who routinely use price comparison sites should transport note. Each such go through is likely to result within 2 or 3 searches of your credit history and there's not a article you can do about it - even if the price comparison flush was for information purposes with the sole purpose.
