Credit Questions and Answers

I have absolutely awful credit, but a 15k car. What are my chances of getting a loan against the car?

Answers: You will always find someone or some company that is interested in taking advantage of you. My advice to you is to do an honest self assessment and figure out what you can do to earn some extra money without leveraging your car. Without knowing the specifics of your situation it is difficult to give you helpful advice. I am willing to bet though, with some creativity you could find an alternative.

One thing I would recommend is checking out the resources at your local Job Services (aka unemployment offices) They have a huge number of resources including financial management classes. Also, there are techniques (legal) for cleaning up your credit. I would be happy to respond to you in more detail if you want to post back.

So in answer to your question about getting a loan against it, pretty good. But it would be a short term solution to your problem at best.
There are companies that will give you money for the title and then you pay them an huge interest payment for the loan. I wouldn't do it unless there were no other alternative. A better solution would be to sell the expensive car, take the cash, buy a cheap car that will get you places and pay off some of the bad credit.

By statute can a sandbank pilfer a settlement I sent to them well-defined principal pmt and not apply it to principal?

By law can a sandbank take a payoff I sent to them marked principal pmt and not apply it to principal but to the subsequent months bill?

Answers: It depends. If a bill has already be issued for the next month, the sandbank can apply it as a regular payment. Most transcript call for payments to be applied first towards unpunctually payments, then towards interest accrue, and then towards principal.

I've found the best passageway to make a principal prepayment, assuming no prepayment cost, is to make it at a edge branch, and within a couple days after the prior pay-out posted.
Call the bank and ask them why they applied the principal recompense to the next month's bill.

By any unpredictability is this a car loan that have all the interest front train loaded? You may not be able to sort principal only payments.

How to credit cards work?

I don't know anything about credit cards or edge stuff.
So if I get a visa or mastercard what is the costs for everything respectively month and what do they mean? How does currewncy conversion work?
How much do I discharge when I withdraw money from an ATM, Bank or use it online?
What does interest rate close-fisted?
Which card is better master or visa?

I will be going overseas to live in UK and travel around other countries, so I am not sure if I necessitate a credit card, ATM card or Cash card. And whether it should be a card using my AUS or UK account, and what type of UK depiction I should get.

Currently I single have a stash account beside an atm card.

Answers: 1. You shouldn't get charged for month anything but interest on your set off. Though some credit cards will charge an annual fee, though not adjectives will. You have to shop around for the right card.
2. Based on current exchange rates, and you'll be charged any a flat fee, or a percentage of the transaction. Depends on the vocabulary of the card.
3. You don't use credit cards to withdraw money from ATMs, you must be thinking of a Debit card which is connected to your bank reason. If you use your home bank, consequently there are no fees, if you use another bank's ATM, later the fee could be anywhere from $1-3. Using it for transactions at stores/mall/online will not cost you anythign.
4. Interest rate is the rate of which they are "loaning" you the money. Unless you money off the entire set off each month, you will be charged an amount proportionate to your be a foil for, like at 10%, a $1000 go together will cost you an aditional $100 at the end, unless you wage it off like greased lightning.
5. Most times, Visa and Mastercard are accepted at indistinguishable places, not usually one without the other, so any will work fine.

But if you're going overseas for a while, i'd suggest you open up a guard account within the UK. Perhaps talking to someone at the guard there can serve you find the kind of products that will work best for you, but don't plan on using the cards from your home country, the fees will be ridiculous, not to mention, in that might be some legal issues near taxes and such and moving cash out of country.
If you're traveling, better use Travel Reward Credit Card.
