Credit Questions and Answers

23 Years Old. I hold 2 Credit Cards. I want a third! Please Read!?

I am in a situation where on earth I will be needing to throw some money on credit within April. I will be charging roughly 1500. I have 1 Merill Lynch cc beside a thousand dollar limit. I get a Best Buy credit card with a measly 300 dollar impede and an outrageous 58/year annual fee. I applied and they approved me, maxim basically, you are approved, but your control is 300 and you need to recompense us 58 for the year. So.should I get a third cc from my hill (comerica)? I will be getting a check for $6,000 in May so I will be capable of pay everything bad.

Answers: Best Buy will never cancel your statement fee. You are better bad getting a new card. However, keeping the depiction open (with a nothing balance) is worth it for $58 a year if you are just starting out near managing your credit. Why? Well, because part of your credit evaluation is determined by what is called your debt to credit aim ratio. If your available credit (the amount you can still charge on your card) is less than what you owe on your card(s) this looks polite and boosts your credit score. If you don't effort about this I would say-so go ahead and reverse the Best Buy card and get a strange card without the attached annual/enrollment fees. Hope this help, good luck to you!! :o)
credit suck!

do carry any credit cards

none
Well I don't ever approve of credit cards UNLESS you will pay the be a foil for each month. Otherwise you will seize very far down very hasty.

If that is your intention check out Chase - they own several reward type programs that pay you backbone cash.

Otherwise for the situation you describe - you'd be far better stale to take a short residence loan from a bank.

Peace.
Put down the pen and step away from the applications. Credit is a curse and a blessing. I'm 23 too, but I know that you enjoy to be smart about credit. I'm guessing your gonna scoff and relay me to go ** myself, but my suggestion is to be suspicious. And buy when you have the dosh until you have the other credit cards salaried off.

I'm am gonna look sooooo smart to you when you are 50. :)
Honestly I would try not to find a 3rd credit card. Getting a 3rd will lower your credit score not individual because you have the card itself but also because they are placing an inquiry on your credit report. Another entry that lowers your score is maxing out your cards which is what sounds resembling will happen since you don't know what your credit time limit on the 3rd card will be until after you get it. You really do not want to use more than 50% of the restriction on the card.

Personally I would also cancel the Best Buy card and not enjoy any credit cards with a annual duty only because they suck. The payment is just so that they can formulate money, which they already do from the interest you pay on the match.
with the option your getting by May you'll be paying back double. is it really worth it? why not continue?
