General Credit?
This question isn't for me it's for a friend of mine.Obviously I hold a credit card but I waited until I be 18 so I have no belief what anything is nowadays. Do you HAVE to be 18 to bring a credit card? Would applying for a card then getting denied ruin your credit surrounded by anyway?
Because he works at Sears and hes 17 going to be 18 in October, Is near chance he would obtain approved? Should he even try?
He's done applications for people that are 17 and they've gotten approved, I don't know how since I other thought you had to be 18 and it's not even similar to they can lie more or less their birthday either since the bank clerk types it in.
If anyone have any answers or input, please leave it! Thanks
Answers: You hold to be 18 to get credit. If you apply and gain denied, yes it ruins your credit. Every time there is an inquiry to a report it puts a spot on the report. If someone 17 gets approved, it's because of a border of error which applies almost anywhere. There is always a side-line of error, but a 17 year old who get approved, should right away without using it, return it to the issuer. Your friend should keep on till October to get the credit, that's if he REALLY requirements it.
You have to be 18 to attain a credit card.
Everytime your credit scored for something & rejected it go on file (credit history) and your credit rating go down. On the other hand if you apply for anything which involves a credit chalk up and are accepted your credfit rating go up.
Everyones different & anything frm your familys bad history to your home good history can effect your credit rating. If the address you are applying frm have bad credit history it will also affect you aswel as anyone who's coupled 2 you can affect it.

Answers: Every time you apply for credit, they run a credit check and that dings your score. If you apply for multiple credit cards within a short period, it will take a huge bite out of your score.
If you are not going to activate and use the card, why would you apply for it. The company will close the account after 6 or 7 months if you do not activate that card.
it will appear on your credit report, whether you use it or not. It onlu hurts if your payments are late or your balance is more than 25% of your availabe credit line.
Use a card that you get money back on. I use one and got back $300 last year.
You have to be careful in terms of how many applications you send out. Do not apply for a card if you have no plans on activating; it will hurt your credit score and it's sort of silly, when you think about it. Do research on the cards that you are looking at and compare them throughly; make sure you are eduacated. Lastly, know your credit score and don't apply for a card that you think you may not be able to be approved for.
You can browse many cards here, and sort them out by many different filters:

Will buying a House tender you perfect credit?
Im buying a house and the closing date is the 25th, right now I capture rejected for most credit applications due to limited credit, so after I buy this house which will be bread, will that go on my credit or be sent to any of the three principal credit burrows as good credit..Answers: If you are paying brass for the house without a loan, later why would it go on your report? Nobody will be reporting it, so no, it wont jump on your report. If you want to improve your credit, start paying some bills.
If you are paying change for the house it will not go on your credit. Do not settle up for all of the house within cash. You find big tax breaks for making payments on a house and it looks correct on your credit too. Pay cash for most of the house and next make payments on the rest.
