Answers: It should have no bearing on simple interest loans already originated. It could have a dramatic impact on your credit cards since they are constantly scrutinized interest rate wise. PS...thoroughly do your homework before ever considering bankruptcy. It will be very long lasting and if its a chapter 13 you will be forced to pay back what you have borrowed anyway thus making it veritably worthless.
