Credit card fraud?
Just received a phone call relating me I had won a trip to Cancun Mexico. Don't know why but it seem legit at first. They transferred me once or twice and a representative kept telling me roughly speaking what I had "won". Then, adjectives I had to do be give my MC or Visa credit card info over a support "taped" telephone flash to book the hotel and get the discount. YEAH RIGHT. At that point I get really pissed and destroyed the caller on the other vein and finally he had no argument so he a moment ago hung up. He really didn't see it coming.Anyways, I have telephone call display and the phone number. It is area code 231. Is in attendance any way I can report these bastards?
Thanks.
Answers: FRAUD if you won it they wouldn't inevitability your info and sure wouldn't ask for it over the phone. Contact the better business bureau in your city and they will serve you.
Do you have a heading of the so called company that call you?
if not, in attendance is not much chance that you can report them.
what could you report?
Sucks that this happen. I am glad that you had the upright sense to stop this before it get ugly.
Imagine those who didnt!
Easy purely get the police to contact the cellular phone exchange with your number and date and time of name and they can trace the call and bust them (providing the police are not on the take), if they cannot next ask them for the number of the local feds and that might get them working
it is your duty as an American to stop these rabble from fraudulating America
Ughhh Paypal Help! (Read Details)?
Ok, so on ebay, I sold a gift card for thirty dollars, and the entity paid, and I know they remunerated because it is in my paypal details. The only entry is I cant use the money because it says I hold to confirm a bank reason. But see, one problem, I don't have a guard account so, what do I do? Is that money lately going to sit there and rot?Answers: You can use the money on other websites that adopt Paypal, most do now.
You can also repayment the buyers money and ask them to issue a check or money order instead and explain the situation. While on eBay, variety sure you indicate that you do not accept Paypal as expense - at least until you unseal a bank picture. That shouldn't have be defaulted into your public notice. They usually ask you first.
you can use it on other websites that accept PayPal, but if you don't hold a bank reason, there's not any other track that I know of to get the money out of the PayPal information.
Reccently I pulled my credit report. Some "junk" debt collector have posted on my report.?
The original debt be settled and it is over 9 years old. How can I attain this removed fro my otherwise clean credit?Answers: Dispute it beside the credit bureaus as being beyond the 7 year reporting time of year.
If the collector contacts you, just sent them a stop and desist letter (certified messages, return receipt). They have to leave your job you alone.
Contact the credit bureau and dispute the charge.
