Can collection agency freeze my wall reason?
hi, i have a collection and they sued me, i hear that they can freeze your bank commentary, my question is, can they still freeze the narrative if i'm the second account holder, thankfulness.Answers: If they sue and get a sentence they can attach not freeze your account.
And it make no difference if you are the first or second.
Certain agencies can freeze your bank article.
The IRS for one. Any student loan, or government agency. In some states, rear legs child support.
If it's one of those agencies, they can freeze any account that have your name on it.
Otherwise adjectives they get is a judgement.
Am I building credit by have a cellphone?
I'm wondering because I always own to pay my bill in arrears because of where my paycheck falls. I've never moved out a bill unpaid though. I've only have it for 5 months.Answers: No you are not, the only time cell phone companies report to the credit bureaus is if you don't pay cheque.
I don’t think the cell phone companies report to the credit bureaus, or at lowest Sprint & Verizon don’t.
I used to think it be an issue. My brother-in-law was forever forgetting to wages his cell phone bill, but he bought a house about 18 months ago, and it didn’t appear to be a problem. I’ve been beside two cell phone companies over the course of 8 years, and neither are listed on any of my credit reports.
Have you call your cell phone company to see if they’ll allow you to pay on a different time? Just a thought if they’re charging you any penalties.
No, you are not building your credit. Phone service and utilities are pay-as-you-go services, not credit. If you failure to pay on your bill, however, they will report THAT as an unpaid debt.
As far as not meeting your bill due date, that is your responsibility to organize your finances better.
Credit repair?
Recently I viewed my credit report online. I arranged to dispute some of the potentially negative accounts. I did this through experian. They "deleted" or removed some of them stale. Some were updated, and others remained. Once they are removed are they gone for devout?Answers: Once an item is removed from the credit report the Fair Credit Billing Act moves into effect. Just like the bureaus hold 30 days to verify a debt or remove it, the FCBA begins another 30 time period where on earth creditors have that time to verify the debt and provide proof to the credit bureaus. Then, by tenet, the bureaus have one week to convey you a letter advise you that it has be put back on. If the above criteria are not met, the trade procession is removed from your report forever.
edit- Also, don't ever dispute online. The check box that you checked signed away your rights under the FCRA. It say that you may not dispute the item again without further proof. That is NOT the protection laid out for you within the FCRA. Always dispute by mail. Just FYI.
I would voice so, but please don;t quote me on it. Either way, if your credit is still a problem, the quickest means of access I found to repair it was to bring a credit card. Buy 1 item on it. say for lb50. Then wage it off surrounded by a week. Once done, cut up your card so you cannot use it again. If you have a credit card surrounded by your name, and have a history (the item you have bought and remunerated off) then it will afford you some serious high ratings.
The credit alliance (equifax) do not know you have cut it up... to them, you hold a credit card that you always retribution off.
Worked okay for me.
Here is a great resource for credit repair that teaches you how to do it for yourself and shows you what the credit repair companies don't want you to swot up.
