Credit Questions and Answers

Collection company will not put extend printed?

I just spoke next to a collection agency and the lady in that made me an offer to delete my distrustful credit report but said she will not put it on paper and that she give me a "verbal agreement". I told her to be exact not good satisfactory and that i need something printed. She refused and said i hold three days to accept or reject it. I torn on this as the proposal is exactly what i want, but i have no paperwork to show for it. She said she will distribute me a paid within full letter one and only after i make contribution. My primary concern is the DELETION of the negative credit from my report. Should i be in motion ahead and settle with them?

Answers: Don't do it.

Without that written agreement you hold nothing but a rewarded collection that will actually lower your win because as soon as you pay it it will become a current commentary rather after a old one.

Tell her the just way you will payment anything is if you get that reimburse for delete agreement in writing.
Tell her this, that underneath the federal law on collections of
any transmittal. You can demand something surrounded by
writing on anything.

Tell, her that on this three day embracing, it is
AGAINST US FEDERAL LAW on bullying people
to earnings anything owed even with any type
of deadline.

Tell, her that if she refuse to give you anything contained by
writing about this. You will transport this up with
FEDERAL REGULATORS and whoever surrounded by
"authority in the US Government" that regulate
collection agencies.

This class of action she is using is crooked.
This collection personnel could be subject to
arrest and imprisonment.

I would suggest that you(if you own such a unit) to
record the conversation beside her.
Tell her that if she won't give you anything within writing
before you compensate and still bullying you tell her, "I hope
get yourself a good legal representative because I will file a
complaint beside whoever in directive enforcement handles
relatives like you."

Again...Bullying empire to pay owed money is
criminal.
No, do not pay one penny. Do not show any urgency or conciliatory tick. Make it appear you don't care and that they can sue you.

Keep surrounded by mind, the Bureaus insist Furnishers of information (that is, Original Creditors, debt collectors & junk debt buyers) sign stale that they will not allow Pay-For-Deletes.

However, the "furnishers" want money. They can easily "bull's-eye" this reason and delete it.

By an authorized agent of the company, get it surrounded by WRITING or no deal. These guys out loud will promise you the moon.

By the way, congratulations on knowing to negotiate a PFD. 99.9% of relatives simply pay what the debt collectors constraint, thinking their FICO will improve w/o negotiate. Not so! Unless you negotiate a PFD or receive a summons, don't pay it.

Best to you,
Mike
...

listen to what we adjectives are telling you

voiced agreement is nothing compared to a written document

she is using her bullying tactic on you.so when she pushes you simply push back a moment or two harder

no matter how polite that deal is in recent times tell her NOPE, you not trying to work next to me and I guess i wont be working with you

they CAN distribute something to you in writing in connection with an agreement if they wanted to but they wont do it because what she is describing your verbally isnt true

Credit (Card)?

Where can I get credit cards near preset amounts of money (not credit cards that involve repaying, but credit cards that you buy and use to shop online)? I know stores like CVS get rid of them but there is a $100 delineate and the product that I can only buy online costs $300.

BTW: I'm currently surrounded by High School in covering that matters. And I'm not officially old adequate to do most "grown up things" so if your suggestion is for "grown ups"...well don't suggest it.

Answers: Hi, and gratefulness for asking.

While you're asking about credit cards, I suggest you're actually asking in the region of gift cards, or reloadable debit cards, which are different. It's confusing, I know -- they commonly say "MasterCard" or "Visa" on them, so they look approaching credit cards. But they're not. They just use the MasterCard or Visa gift networks.

I know you don't want to hear this, but you can't really get a credit card of your own lacking the approval of an adult -- someone 18 or elder willing to affix you as an authorized user. People younger than 18 aren't allowed to enter into binding contracts, and credit cards are a form of contract under the card issuer offer to lend you money, and you become legally responsible for the payments.

You can bring tons of different kinds of prepaid endowment cards and reloadable debit cards, though. They have different rules. The Web site I stifle, creditcards.com, did a story about adjectives the different types.
See http://www.creditcards.com/gift-card-sur... to compare them.

Good luck.
Usually, you can buy these prepaid cards at grocery stores, and when the money is out, you can call up and hold them take money from your ridge account and deposit it onto your prepaid card. If you find a prepaid card beside a bank designation on it (like Citibank or Bank of America), then you can hike into a bank and engineer a deposit at any teller station.

Hope this help.
I purchased a green dot visa card at walmart.
YOu can put ANY amount on there up to 1000 bucks.
Do keep hold of in mind that in attendance are monthly fees on this card
(you can read about them on the contact below)
I purchased the card shortly after thanksgiving for 95 bucks
by the time xmas rolled around 5.95 was already deduct from the card for 'monthly fees'

I would not have guessed that you are within high college by the conscise way that you wrote your grill and I believe you to be a very 'grown up' youngster.so I don't think you will hold a problem obtaining this card or using it.

Payday loan nightmare..?

My fiancee had not be home for Christmas in 5 years, we have a new born nephew we hadn't see yet, and neither of us label abundant amounts of lolly. We live humble lives and don't have things outside our wishes. After Hurricane Katrina struck, the plane ticket prices skyrocketed. Trying to be a good fiance, I took out some payday loans to aid us out. I don't have clan or a network of cousins to borrow from. I found myself stuck. I be repaying the finance charges respectively month, and had to pocket out more loans to pay them sour. In June I couldn't pay the rates anymore. At one point it be $1,400 a month. My bank become overdrawn and my account be closed. I've made arrangements with a few of the companies to repay them, but not adjectives of them. I was threatened next to jail second week. Can I be prosecuted? Some people voice that as long as I didn't take the loans out near intent to commit fraud, I'm safe. Others are axiom differently. Please help.

Answers: i work for check n go(a payday loan company) You can't be taken to send to prison.so don't believe it. They will tell you that and more. We in reality go to our customers homes and job and call their domestic and cousins until they pay us. I know it's messed up . I would NEVER reccommend anyone to procure a payday loan. They will usually try to accomodate you and give you time to earnings them off . Talk to the negotiator and get a stipend scedule with them

I've have good results here...

Good Luck.
This sounds resembling a nightmare. I don't really understand exactly how much you took on payday loans, but isn't the intent to repay back the loan when payday comes?

I don't know if you can be prosecuted, but you will own to work on paying them back. You might also benefit from going to court if the interest rates be unreasonable (I believe they're referred to as USURY) as you might get some type of settlement. Or, possibly you can negotiate some type of settlement directly.

What an expensive lesson. Good luck.
There is no such thing as debtors prison anymore. Now, if you be writing bad checks calculated with intent to defraud that's different. They can unquestionably lock you up. But, if it's a matter of discouraging judgement they can't lock you up. In fact, it's iffy for the colector to threaten you with intern time. They have to follow the rules and regs of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. If they don't they can seize into serious issue with the Feds. My suggestion, capture a recording of a threatening conversation. Make arrangements to clear. Now you know why "pay time loan" companies are the fastest growing business in the US .
