Are citizens turned down for secured credit cards and what are some great ones to apply for.?
I have a credit mark of 472 due to some very troubling time situations. I am trying to rebuild my credit and remuneration off my bills.Im looking for some secured credit cards to start bad with. Will I be turned down by someone because of my credit and because Chase reported me to ChexSystems?
Answers: Secured cards are the best mode to re-establish credit. I wouldn't worry too much roughly ChexSystems, right now, I own an alternative for a checking account contained by a link I posted below.
I work surrounded by the credit card industry and I have firsthand acquaintance about secured cards and the aesthetic of them is that they so many different things to support you. Like for starters, they provide a means of establishing a current "backbone" of credit because you can practically "custom build" a respectable credit card with the indemnity deposit. For example, if you deposit $300, your limit is $300. If you deposit $10,000, next your limit is $10,000.
Another benefit is that deposit is sometimes related to a savings statement which can gain interest while you're establishing credit, so the deposit isn't just sitting at hand, also the deposit can double as an emergency fund later on when the card upgrades to a regular card and the deposit is given pay for.
I also speak from personal experience because I've used Bank of America and Orchard Bank's secured cards. Bank of America's the best overall, because it has the shortest time that the deposit is held (9 months) and Orchard Bank would be another obedient option because they enjoy a high approval rate, you earn interest on your deposit and you enjoy a higher ceiling for deposit ($15,000). The only problem would be is that they may hold your deposit longer (18 months).
I started building my credit near secured cards! They are a very honest place to start considering your very low FICO.
I started next to the Orchard Bank secured credit card. Their customer service is great and they have a modern, up-to-date online commentary info/bill pay.
Don't be discouraged; you'll manufacture it. I believe I was at a chalk up slightly higher than you...perchance 530? I am currently at 733.

Okay I dont work I havent worked since February 2007 and I was pretty appropriate taking care of my bills until I be hospitlized and then put on bed rest and after hospitilized again. I currently can not work because my son is blind and I take prudence of him 24/7. I recently applied for 6 job but could not get one because they checked my report and found I be just a liablity.Okay so here is really what I owe and I hope you can relieve me!
I had a Macys card that be closed and is paid rotten.
I have a income one card that I paid grant protector on and I am awaiting my benefits which will erase everything from when I stopped working but I still owe $1,400 and the limit is 750. I enjoy a Chase which I activated my benefits and I owe 650 on it and it be closed.
I want to reopen my Macy's and Chase when I get through paying it past its sell-by date. Is that possible? They gave me the run around until my balance where dignified then activate my benefits.
Im adding more.
Answers: You hold the right idea next to opening up 2 secured cards. Those latest accounts will become your new backbone for your credit. I wouldn't verbs too much about Macy's and Chase right immediately. Once you get them remunerated, they may or then again may not repoen them. It shouldn't business anyway, if you've opened up 2 secured cards and you still hold the Capital One card. The most important item right now is to discharge and pay prompt. I read in another query you asked that you don't have a checking side. Well, a checking account is the most far-reaching tool is managing your money, especially when it comes to online banking next to billpay. With that, you can lay out ALL your bills in front of you within black and white to see where you are and where on earth you need to be. If possible depending on how impossible it is, I would try to clear up the issue you have near Chase and ChexSystems. That not only clears the overdraft/bounced check from your credit report, but it clears that flag next to ChexSystems. If you're able to do that, try introductory an account near Bank of America online. Not to put my cousin's business in the street, but believe it or not, his credit is probably far worse than yours and he be able to find a MyAccess checking, so try that. If it doesn't work, then I own another alternative called AccountNow. It works of late like a checking justification (online billpay, MasterCard debit card, direct deposit) only except it doesn't use ChexSystems. It's pretty straightforward to get approved. Again, I posted the contact to that below. I also posted links to several secured cards (Bank of America is the best overall)

To be perfectly honest, this sounds close to a perfect situation for you to return to mom's or dad's house to "take yourself together"
Attacking this huge mountain alone with a blind son on your shoulder after self recently hospitalized is a HUGE underrtaking.
This is what home is supposed to do . . . help those domestic members WHO WANT to do better for themselves but haven't have the best of circumstances.
Yes, getting some secured credit cards will help to amend your score. It usually take between 18-24 months of on-time payments for your score to be significantly better.
I definitely recommend you salary off the debts first if you can. Being that you aren't working right in a minute you want to make sure you don't owe anyone any money. So take the debts paid bad first, then you can start worrying nearly cleaning up your credit report.
