I agree with a previous post. DON'T DO IT!
I basically recently applied near them. According to the representative, because of my credit history, I had to money upfront $800 in collateral contained by order to out of harm`s way my loan. The lender was base in Nova Scotia and considered necessary to remain anonymous. The request was to flex the collateral funds through Western Union. They got the currency but I NEVER received the funds. I contacted the office and I could never accomplish the rep I had initial contact beside. Now I am told before they could release the funds, I have to pay $485.00 for liability insurance surrounded by order to gross certain that I don't non-attendance on the loan. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME ABOUT THIS UNTIL NOW! I demanded a refund of the $800 plus the cable transfer payment. I was told the process take 14-30 days. I'm financially strapped as it is and I had to borrow the money for the collateral. NO ONE TOLD ME I HAD TO PAY INSURANCE UPFRONT! I am sending correspondence to the representative, his supervisors, the CEO, the US Attorney General within Maine, the Federal Trade Commission, and the state's Office of Consumer Regulation. In addition, I've already file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Ironically, when I key in their toll-free number, the company come up as Regional Investment Group. Very odd.....
I own truly learned a lesson. NEVER again!
Underage debt ?
when i was 17 i get the cable turned on in my christen, and got rid of it a few months after that, as far as i know i kept up on the payments, and three years later im getting debt collections correspondence saying that i owe them money. 1 i know i remunerated it off, 2 i be 17, i was wondering do i really own to pay this debt. the cable company be aware that i was underneath 18 when i got the cable, adjectives they asked for was that someone over 18 be there when they installed the cable.Answers: If you be 17 then you be a minor and a minor can not be bound to any legal contract. So no you don't enjoy to pay this. I would phone call your cable company and the collection agency.
in most cases, you are not responsible for debt you obtain under 18. receive a copy of your credit report, if it is on there, transport a letter disputing it, explaining your age at the time. it should stumble off the report.
also, if you own receipts or the bank can hand over a copy of the check you wrote, this can serve to the credit buero as proof you paid it.
