I have excellent credit & I’m getting married to someone w/ devastating credit, tax lean, & such. What will happen to me when we acquire married will my credit get ruined? Should I not silver my last label to his? Will that help rescue my credit? I don't really know much about this so please HELP! Serious answers single please & THANK YOU.Answers: Your credit will always be separate from him as long as you don't share debt near him. Keep your finaces separate and you'll be safe. Buy a home near him and you'll be paying finance charges and pmi out the wazoo because the mound will see him as a liability.
Yes, it will screw up your credit.
You should really insist he resolve adjectives financial issues before nuptials.
Changing your last heading isn't really going to make a difference.
Get a free credit report, in recent times call up any of the big company's and influence you suspect fraud, they automatically generate a report for you to review and then contest any entity that doesn't match up to truth. Get his credit report to.
Make sure he has a solid financial plan to accomodate this debt because if they are siezing his income, it will affect your ability of life. McDonalds or Denny's? Do you really want those choices?.
I have terrible credit when my husband needed to get married. Together we fixed my credit. I contacted a credit councilor and found out what needed to be done and together we fixed it. He even rewarded off 2 bills for me.
I refuse to get married until my credit be fixed because once you marry your credit score is vastly affected by your partner score.
He refuse to wait the 6 months I needed to do it on my own so we fixed it. We combined adjectives of our finances months before our matrimony.
I had credit trouble because I be in an quirk and didn't work for 18 months and couldn't avoid the trouble I had but once I knowledgeable what was meaningful to a credit rating/score I am much better with money in a minute than I ever was.
There are some flat out hideous answers here by people who simply do not know what they are conversation about.
Your credit mark is affected by YOUR creditors reporting information something like YOUR accounts to the credit bureaus. Your credit score WILL NOT be artificial by his unless you are listed as a mutual holder on his accounts and/or loans.
Unlike Scorpion Fence suggested, for creditors to report anything about his accounts on your credit report would be ILLEGAL. They simply can not do that out of spite for your husbands troubles.
There is no sleight of hand formula they use to gather his information and allow it to effect your win, it's simply not done.
Now as far as the IRS goes to be precise an entirely seperate scenario and I'm sorry to say I do not know the answer. That may be something you'd want to ask a export tax specialist.
Don't enter into any joint debts and do not co-sign next to your mate for any type of credit. His actual credit won't hurt you per se but anything needing to be obtain with the use of credit will own to be in your dub so be careful in the order of how much credit you obtain. Also, necessities(i.e., utilities, home loans, etc.) will probably enjoy to be acquired within your name so be sure that you hang on to up with timely payments thereof.
Also, put together sure that your husband doesn't sign your name on any credit applications--I enjoy known creditors to allow spouses to do this. In essence, the bulk of things, if all, to be acquire with the use of credit will nose-dive on you; thus, the burden of making sure all things are remunerated for is on you. Your hubby-to-be has already demonstrated irresponsibility surrounded by that area so wretchedly, you should NOT rely on him.
One more note, unless he have filed for collapse, a lot of his income will probably be used to make happy his creditors thus, taking away from your combined incomes.
Enough of my two-cents.
it is not shallow to never marry someone next to bad credit
unpromising credit is indicative of immaturity and famine of fiscal responsibility.
this is tied hand surrounded by hand next to lack of life span goals and other passionate problems
The irs will be happy to see the two of you marry!
More money for them.
Please know that if you are with HIM and his wages are garnish, it cannot help but affect (effect?) you!
what are you going to do or speak when he asks you to please put the car loan surrounded by YOUr name?
Will you really influence "NO" ?
If you say 'yes' out of love,
base on his history can you really trust HIm to pay for it?
If you do find the courage to voice no, how do you think that THIS will effect (affect?) your bridal?
i am sure you love him
postpone the wedding for awhile (please)
No Maam, im married and have under a 450 rack up on my Fico and my wife had over 750 on her fico in a minute what I don't get is why culture are telling you this will affect you?
not a soul knows what within talking almost!
If he owes the IRS money he will be punised for it not you unless you agree to use him under integrated accounts, then they can come after you.
If he ask for sustain by using your credit; be catious! You must be responsible for all the daily work..
Change your last autograph go for it! Its not going to affect you!
Put it this channel you will have the upper mitt in the relationship! lol glum but true!
What is the most "popular" credit bureau amongst lenders?
When a potential lender pulls your report what bureau to they most often verbs it from?Answers: That would be Experian, my friend.
All though all 3 are historic when determining a loan or simply approving you for a type of card, Experian is pulled the most, but not always!
Credit Repair Removal of Paid Collections?
Hi, hopefully someone can shed some light on my dilemma. I enjoy an old collection agency indicate on my credit report 11/2001. This was a $90 debt that I be a few months late on paying, surrounded by turn it was reported to an agency and put on my report. Since afterwards I have one and only one other negative spot on my report (60 day CC unsettled payment). Anyway to no avail I have tried to capture this off my report. Has anyone tried to contact their resourceful creditor or the collection agency with the purpose of requesting removal? I hold seen instances where on earth people own bargained for collections removal for full donation, but in my bag I paid them almost 6 years ago.Answers: as long as it be latew, it does not have to be justifiably removed
I've bookmarked this site...
http://debt.knowledged.info/credit_card.
Hope it all works out
If you be already a few months late when it go to collections in 11/2001, you may be close to the time where on earth it will fall bad naturally. Negative information can lone be reported for 7 years from the charge-off date(which actually works out to around 7.5 years from the first delinquency).
Now, if it is a paid debt i.e. this old it is have very little effect on your evaluation. Actually the 60 day belated is probably having more of an effect if it be in the closing couple of years.
If you have not already tried to, transport in a dispute the the credit reporting agencies requesting certification of the debt. If it has be this long the company may just resolve not to respond. If that does not work and you don't want to wait for the subsequent few months there is zilch wrong with contacting the collection agency, but don't expect much.
