Credit Repair Agencies...what do you ponder?

I am considering contacting a local agency. I have no credit card debt...its first and foremost old utility and medical bills holding me support. What is your experience or opinion on these companies?

Answers: You're better sour contacting the utility companies & medical offices directly to work something out next to them.

All the best to you.
I don't hold any reference for you urgently but I can say that I own seen them do wonders. Make sure they are reputable. Try checking them out within the Better Business Bureau and such.

Good luck to you!
How old are the utility and medical bills. It is my caring that once paid contained by full, entries only stay on your transcription for 7 years.

Did you pay them bad. If not it would most likely be 7 years from when they be written off. If they hold not been written past its sell-by date, you need to repay them off. A credit repair agency can not delete valid debts that you owe.

2ndly, from what use to be, I don't know if it still holds true, but gas cards use to be the easiest cards to bring back. Get your self a credit card, (if you don't have one) and establish some credit, Once you own a credit card, use it lightly, and take home payments to show that you are responsible.

Forget the credit repair agency. You would be wasting your money.

Summons still served after I compensated?

Ok, heres the problem. Last month, I made an agreement with the Rubin and Rothman decree firm to pay a indubitable amount of the money I owed to capital one as settlement on the 25th. Money be in in that the 25th, they withdrew it. I call to confirm and they said it was devout to go and I would achieve a letter of settlement soon. Today, I received a summons from them dictum I still owe them the amount. The summons was dated the 23rd. I call the law firm, they said it's be recalled and I can disregard it. I asked what more or less the letter of settlement and they said since I rewarded on the 25th, I will get it since the 25th of the next month. That happen to be 2 days after the 30 day closing date I have to show up for the summons. What should I do? Should I hold his word for it?

Answers: I would call the court clerk to see if it have been 'recalled' as stated.
If not, close to the poster above stated, go to the place at the time directed on the summons beside a statement from your bank. Ask the prosecutor if they can dismiss the valise based on the certainty that Rubin, Rothman and friends wont be there and that you enjoy proof of payment.

If you don't move about and the summons was not recall, you could have a bench warrant out for your arrest. That is the ending thing that you want so a moment ago to be on the safe side, I would telephone first and if that does not offer any positive information, I would be here 20 or 30 minutes before!

P.s. What the attorney said made sense. Since you salaried after the date of the summons, they might have wait a few days to make sure the settlement cleared before they recall the case.
No! Follow the instructions on the summons. Go to your dune and get a copy of the check that be processed, or if they did and EFT(electronic funds transfer), get a copy of your ridge statement from the bank and cart that with you to prove that you salaried the settlement. If you have a communiqu¨¦ that shows the amount of the settlement, take that beside you as well. Do Not cold-shoulder the summons.
