All the best to you.
The rule of thumb where I come from is that you lone refi if you save at lowest possible 1%. No less, it costs money to refi and you won't bring it back for smaller quantity.

Good luck!
I am going to say impossible idea because 6 months is not plenty for an installment loan to have any positive effect on your credit report. You involve at least 12 months.

The other piece is how much is the interest rate going to drop. These are not like mortgages where on earth one or two points will save you thousands of dollars. If you are looking at 5 points over 60 months, that could be worth it later but really take a look at the overall nouns savings and weigh it against any cost or hassle that you will incur. But again, don't do this for at smallest 6 more months!

I hope this helps.

If I don't want pay my credit card payments what will be hapening?

Answers: Credit cards are unsecured debts so the credit company knows that there is no collateral to go after. They will send you to collections and after all is said and done, if you don't pay, you will have a profit and loss writeoff on your credit which will damage your score for a long time to come.

You definitely need to think long and hard about this because if it is just for several hundred or even a few thousand bucks, it would be ridiculous to ruin your credit over that. Not only will your score drop dramatically, but now a lender for a car or home can't even count this tradeline as valid, so if you have thin credit to begin with, you won't be able to qualify for a new loan now either. You also send messages to other credit card companies by showing them how you treat 'unsecured' credit.

C'mon, when you took out the card, you agreed to pay them back. You borrowed the money to use for something for yourself. Be fair, suck it up and do what is right... you owe them the money. Don't be a shmuck....
well in addition to all the stuff that the posters above have stated, you will be forced to drive very crappy cars for the next 7 or so years. You wont be able to purchase a house for the same amount of time.
Not sure how old you are so this may not seem like a big deal now but try to imagine if sometime in the future these things might have some appeal to you.
If so, consider paying!
