True that! the interest is going to be over 20%. Not sure what the max is there but I will tell you a few things I know here in Oregon that might be the same where you are so check before you buy. If you go to the car dealer here the max is 29%. If you go to the lender (high risk lender) they can go up in the 30's!! crazy. Also negotiate a price PRIOR to letting them pull your credit. And remember just like us mortgage folks most car sales men get a rebate of the interest rate! So they will tell you that you only qualify for the highest rate but that may not be the case!! shop around.
