Answers: use it as a credit card. a pin is provided to you, but it is merely for you to check your balance online. When you use it, relay the cleck to run it as a credit card

You need to explain to them that you are self-employed. That self said, they may want to see your tax file statement to confirm your earnings.
Checks alone are not proof of income as everyone can submit a transacted check. They want proof of income. Ask them to see what will be above-board for them.
What most places will want to see is your tax return. Some may except your current quarterly levy filing info, others may except your two most recent checks and compare that to what you clim your annual earnings will be.
To be on the undisruptive side I would bring your last file tax return.
They are looking for recent verifiable income so a toll return from 05 is not going to help.
If you don't hold pay stubs you call for some other proof. These could be things such as a CURRENT tax return(either per annum or a quarterly filing). If you can't find it(and did file) you can contact the IRS and see if they can get you a copy of them. You may also see if they will adopt copies of your bank statements to prove your financial propensity.
It is doubtful that they will accept "checks" as proof of income because contained by reality you could be getting a check for anything.
I doubt they can use a check. If you are self employeed you could other use tax statements and other things.

If you can't, next by all vehicle, pay it online and not be belatedly, because being belated causes a intact host of problems with your credit rating. If I be you, I'd skip even calling Bank of America and pay online only to be safe. Your credit rating will any kill you or squirrel away you in the ending.
