What do I do?
i am a cosigner of a loan in my mother cross. she filed chapter 13 and this loan is negatively affecting my credit. i ask them if i pay packet the balance will it come sour my credit report. they told me it could take years.Answers: Sadly, intensely few creditors take the time to study your "character". Instead, your credit gain, now blemished, is adjectives they look at.
You can repay it as a matter of pride -having honored your word.
The with the sole purpose way you could enjoy avoided it was to reimburse before your brother file BK.
Wish you all the luck.
Quite simply, you're screwed. Whether or not you payment your balance, it will remain on your transcription for some time.
That's the trouble with co-signing!
How long should i hang about to close my credit card tale?
after the balance have become zero and after not using the credit card, how long should i dawdle to close the cc account so that it won't affect my credit too much?i hold 6 credit cards right now (3 store credit cards and 3 regular credit cards) but i merely want to keep one store credit card and one regular credit card. later i want to open up a dosh back rewards credit card (after my be a foil for on all credit cards accomplish zero). i know closing credit card accounts (especially in my baggage, four) can lower your credit (due to credit available & balance percentage). But near the cash support rewards credit card that i'm planning on applying for, i'm going to rebuild my credit.
but what is the minimum amount of time that i inevitability to wait after nought activity so that it have less (negative) effect on my credit chalk up?
Answers: There is none.
Transunion, equifax, and experian all issue different reports on the 1st and 15th of each month.
My singular suggestion to you is get doesn`t matter what financing you need taken precision of before you close the justification.
On average a closed account will help yourself to anywhere from 20-30 points off the score.
Hope that helps!
I would hold the card open if you want to hang on to your credit score illustrious - it has 2 years history that you'll lose if you close the card. Just don't use it.
It also shows how long you've have credit for, so if you close your old accounts, it looks similar to your total history is shorter, so it will always own a small impact on your credit score.
Easy give somebody the third degree,no.Not solvable question,no.Check out this information, your answer might be here.http://creditcard.expertips.info/citi-cr...
I judge im getting scr*ed over!?
ok so my bf just salaried 50 dollars on his sprint bill which is past due. they agreed the payment and later a week later he gats a christen from the collections agency saying that he wishes to pay the bill the bill is 395 but they said that if we settle 277.14 by the end of the month consequently they will send it rear to sprint and they would turn the phone back on. the problem i enjoy is i thought that if they accepted any type of sum they couldn't send you to collections because you're permitted payment keep the account live and shows that you have intent to retribution it off. i own done this for hospital bills in which valise i had a hundred dollar bill and i remunerated ten dollars each month until it be paid and they said that be fine and it wouldn't go to collections as long as i kept the portrayal active so why is this different?Answers: Well its different because Hospitols are roughly the nicest when it comes to bill collecting. Hospitols are there to minister to people, and they dont want any unpromising press.
In the case next to the cellphone thing, the company absolutley have the right to take you to collections the minute the bill isn't rewarded on time. I used to be paralegal for a company that deal with things approaching this and we would get question all the time.
I enjoy been surrounded by your almost exact situation before near a different cellphone company and I just call and asked to speak with a overseer. If you are really cool and nice but are persistent next to what you want, you will get the best results. Talk to sprint first give or take a few how you need to hold the phone on (for whatever aim, I told them it was for my profession, because that was the case) I purely told them that if I cant have my phone on, I cant do my career and I wont get salaried so neither will you, please just comfort me help you out, I want to pay cheque this but I just cant right presently. They will most likely oblige you out with a reimbursement plan and turn your phone on.
If you have to discharge the collections amount, I highly reccomend describing the collections agency you will pay it past its sell-by date in payments (or surrounded by one lump sum) if they can provide written documentation that they will take it past its sell-by date your credit report once it is paid, and hold them to it. This will hold on to your credit from being hurt for too long.
The hospital AGREED to do what it did for you, but be not required to. Hospitals tend to be far more lenient beside bill payment/collections than are other types of business.
If you owe the money to Sprint, you're going to have to cough up according to THEIR vocabulary or have your credit besmirched.
Sprint evidently have different collections policies than your hospital does.
A company can use a collection service any time a payment is overdue. You agreed to that arrangement when you (or your bf) signed the sale agreement.
I think what you are referring to is the policy of not PROSECUTING (not collecting) a debtor if they spawn regular payments.
Hope that clears things up.
Not true. Any amount past due is subject to collections because your story is not current.
Any payment arrangements you ever create should be in writing.
