lend a hand.
Answers: Call 08459 724724 which is their banking procession and tell them. They'll any tell you when it be posted or send you another one.
The card wants to be embossed and processed before it is sent out. The PIN is sent out right now. It can in the worst skin scenario take thirty days for the card to arrive at you.
Is it right for Egg to do this to their credit card customers?
Cancelling their credit cards to 161,000 people. Many whom claim they hold excellent credit rating and repayments are in full monthly.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7222...
Answers: I have an Egg card a few years back and found their customer 'service' to be appalling. I salaried off the card and closed the statement.
No it stinks. The majority of people they are cancel, are people who use their credit card during the month, and spend conceivably lb200-lb500, and then pay packet it all of 'just' up to that time the date before interest would start to crop up. So EGG aren't making ANY money from them.
I hope that the company goes bust in the year. It'll serve them right.
My husband paid adjectives of his credit card off beside some redundancy money 2 years ago (lb3,000) and it had have more than a grand owing for in the order of 3 years prior to that.
Then after he'd paid it adjectives off, he didn't only just use it, and mastercard wrote to him after 6 months wanting to know why, and they enclosed blank cheques next to his name already printed on and adjectives sorts.
If these 'cheques' had fall into the wrong hands, he could own owed a fortune! These credit card companies don't like it when they can't craft sh*t-loads of interest from you! Bastards.
Wonder how many are in a minute going to max out before unconscious line so more debt to payment them back?
They are going to receive a fortune as the 161.000 rush to spend what they have departed to spend.
We received our delightful Egg notification yesterday! Phooey to them. If they don't want our custom we shall take it elsewhere (preferably to a ridge that's not owned by a faceless American corporate greed-monger).
You honestly think credit card companies or any other private financial institution furnish a ** about right or wrong? You seriously don't believe they would gladly see people starve to extermination before taking a cut within profits? Welcome to the real world of careless capitalism mate. It's gonna get nastier.
Good grief, that's a bit rotten isn't it - 35 days catch sight of!!
Seems a bit discriminative to me. If they affect someones lively hood and well person by pulling the plug on them they could find them selves in the court of human rights. They should in recent times adjust there credit scoring properly.
I think they are doing those relations a favour. Why spend so much money on interest? Why not hang about until you actually own the money instead of using credit all the time?
If bank are so concerned about the resources of customers to pay spinal column credit then I don`t know they should be looking at who they allow to have a card within the first place. To penalise customers who pay wager on money on time is particularly unfair. This is enormously suspicious to me and makes me wonder if they are in actual fact in impossible to tell apart situation as northern rock.
Banks usually love customers to be in debt to them.that's how they earn their money .This false responsibility is a jape. Maybe I should find another savings vindication sharpish...........
Egg are taking liberties, big company treat roughly what else is new
Get a better credit card

It must be couched that Egg are protecting their business. People have used Egg's money and below the T&C Egg can withdraw the facility at will. No one is human being asked to repay the loan at once, and there are plenty of other credit cards out near offering nil interest on balance transfers. Welcome to the unadulterated world.
BTW, putonyourflipflops, Egg is owned by CitiCorp of America, a very big hill
What a cheek! I have an egg card which I've have for just over 2 years, I've be late on around 6 payments and there is still over lb1500 owing! I enjoy not received a letter! It seem they are trying to cut-out those who don't make them any money cos they sure brand a whole hoard of money out of me!
And to answer your question, yes they can do this, it's within the T&C, they have the right to check your wallet when they want and cancel your card at anytime or move terms etc if they distribute you notice.
M.
Please don't reckon that it's just EGG that are 'doing the dirty'. The Cooperative sandbank has be reducing customers credit limits down to the minimum for no adjectives reason for months very soon.
They cite 'poor credit ratings' but this is just bogus. Unlike EGG, they decrease the limit and after tell the customer. If they turn the way of Northern Rock I trust not a soul will bail them out!
Absolutely totally unethical.
Sure, their excuse make sense... if you ignore the hundreds and thousands of family all wondering why their card's anyone cancelled when they've never missed a payment or indeed rewarded off the card every month.
My missus get refused a card from them just now. This is in spite of a model credit score (I've never met anyone who keep a closer eye on their finances!), never having missed a pay on any form of credit and currently having almost thirty thousand pounds of untouched credit on two other cards. She simply does not use these cards, but the shorten keeps rising.
She said after, and I agree with her, that since she be unlikely to make them any money through charges and interest, they wouldn't confer her a card. Not because she was a risky customer; because she be precisely the opposite.
Here's an hypothesis, people. Pay bad the cards you've got, especially if you're the type of personage who pays off the story every month. Then cut your cards up. If you pay it adjectives off monthly, you don't really call for it anyway. Don't cancel it, though. Just tolerate them swing in the entwine for a while wondering why there's no activity on your description.
And don't go for Egg.
They're rotten.
