What type of Credit? Unsecured, personal column of credit , Credit Card (which in the expiration is also an unsecured loan) or for buying a home?

It all depends on various factors I would utter, I have be in the states for 3 years and my first CC be for 2000, then AMEX give me 25000 in flash of credit,,, I guess it depends on the use, payment history and unsurprisingly YOUR INCOME. You show the lenders what you earn by your spending patterns , so if you cause a lot of money but hold never exceeded lets vote 1000 in revolving balance, you might not get a huge splash of credit, they like that you show you Spend and pay cheque...

I am not an expert, but that's per my experience.

Answers: Make sure there isn't false info on your report. People do generate mistakes, even the credit beaures.

Then, if you are maxing out your cards, but still paying on time (in full or close to it), afterwards you could qualify for a credit increase so you'll be using less of your available credit. They close to to see you using less than 30%

And don't apply for cards you don't want. Keep the inquires down if at all possible. Asking for a credit inquiry once or twice a year won't hurt, but do it more than that and you may hold a hard time getting approved when a TRUE need does arise.

Do these things and you should see a rise within your score contained by a few months time. Changing items on your credit report usually takes a month or so.
