After 3 months of disputing a $13 past due amount near Experian, it always comes fund as verified. I called my casing worked and he said I have never be in arrears or have a lien against me from the CS office. I explained the situation and they are recitation me to fight it beside the credit agencies. I told them I will file a lawsuit for vilification. Any advice on how I can procure this fixed?

Never late and this is how they treat me! AGRRRRR

Answers: Have you tried gettting something surrounded by writing from your case worker that shows you enjoy never been past due and sending that with your dispute to the credit bureau?

You could also request contact info from the credit bureau. It's probably not your suitcase worker. Could very okay be someone in the CS department that automatically verifies short doing any real checking.

What do they look at when you are applying for a credit card?

cause im trying to carry one, i never had problems next to money and i paid everything surrounded by time

Answers: It really depends on the issuer, however, the standard method is what they call the "5 C's of credit"
Which are:

Capacity
Collateral
Credit Worthiness
Credit Score
Character

The credit card companies are not required to look at adjectives of these things, but they can if they chose to.
1, your income
2, do you own a house
3, do you have credit cards ? how oodles , how many are live
4, did you pay your bill slow, any kind of payments, dampen bill, electric bill
5, how amny time you are late
on and on
if you want to start build your credit it's angelic idea to start out beside gas card, department store ect. good luck.
Depends on the lender. Some look at FICO ranking, some look at employment. Some lenders don't look at anything but these cards usually have highly developed interest rates.

What would you suggest to be my subsequent step within this financial situaion? see details below?

i have be in a debt consolidation 4 7-8 months & one of my creditors took me to court. the arbiter said that if my creditor dosen't want to accept pymt from them they dont enjoy to which means i would enjoy to work something out with them and i hold to have a ruling made whe i go put money on to court on feb 5th. now i call my debt company & they tell to enlighten judge that i dont enjoy the $ at this time & to contact them if there is a settlement tender. so my question is should i acquire out of this program all together and start over near my creditors with settlement or should i stick it out? i enjoy about $10,000 of debt surrounded by this program and now after numerous call from collection agencies & being summons to court i am wondering if this is the best method to being going going on for this. there have been some to suggest to me to consider liquidation. should i be looking at that as my next risk. I am so confused & stuck on what 2 do & please help?

Answers: If you're within debt consolidation, and the creditors are calling you, you're not working next to a competent debt consolidation company.

They should have informed you roughly speaking your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. They should be handling the call.

At this stage, you need to consider adjectives your options. If I be in your shoes, I'd contact my local department of the American Bar Association. Ask to be recommended to bankruptcy attorney. Don't verbs, talking to one doesn't denote you have to contend bankruptcy.

Tell the attorney you'll reward him or her their hourly rate for two hours. Bring your paperwork (and your checkbook!). Get advice.

If you've never be to a legitimate credit counselor, find one. My company, CreditCards.com, have a story about how to choose one. See http://www.creditcards.com/Select-a-Cred... They don't cost much for a consultation.

Between the two, they should clear the upper air and lift the fog you're contained by. From what you say, you're stuck beside an incompetennt consolidation shop -- and there are abundantly of them. Get rid of them.

Good luck.
Hello,

I know exactly what you need. I be in a highly similar situation and I've had friends contained by situations that are 10x worse then this one.

One of my buddies come across this site, and they have a free eBook which tell you everything you'll ever need to know.
Here's my suggestion.

Call a lawyer. This have spiraled out of control!! When you give the name the laywer, explain your situation. You should SUE the debt consolidation program for their shoddy service. They should have be a better advocate for you, and also, they should enjoy kept you informed about this creditor who didn't want to share in your plan. It sounds similar to a lot of time passed between when you started consolidating and this lawsuit. I find it sturdy to believe that the creditor ran instantly to the court. Suing someone is expensive business, so something happen behind the scene between the creditor and the debt consolidation company.

I think that you might want to consider liquidation. If you are working and getting a decent wage, I don't see why you couldn't take-home pay off adjectives your debt in the subsequent 3-5 years with steady and stable payments. However, immediately that you are in court, the integral situation has changed. Bankruptcy offer protections to you. First, if a judgment is award against you, next that will be wiped away surrounded by bankruptcy. Second, ruin provides for an automatic stay from any legal proceedings so this BS that you are going through near the court would stop. Part of this stay also is that no one can irritate you for money while you are going through the process. You would only clear bills for things like rent, sports car payment, motor insurance, student loans if you have any. While the liquidation law have changed, the threshold has be a set a little high, but considering what you owe and how you can't pay, it sounds to me resembling you under the income threshold.

Bankruptcy is a serious item. It will stay on your credit report for 10 years. The good word is that after a year or two, as long as you've kept your finance within good command and saved some money, it's usually not too rock-hard to get credit. You don't other get the best rates, but as time go on, that gets better.

Another point to mention is that you could use ruin as a last resort threat to this creditor. Call them up and speak about them that unless they work with you, you'll own no choice but to file. And consequently they'll get nought!! They'll be even worse off than they are very soon. What do you have to lose? If they don't work beside you, you won't be able to retribution, and they'll get zilch. If you do go this route, try to be as nice as possible and simple state the facts as they are: You can't repay what they want you to pay and that they are pushing you towards file for bankruptcy.

I can't make clear to you what to do, but court is scary. I've be to court, and it's no picnic. It's stressful, confusing and scary, and I would never need it on my worst enemy. The issue has be made worse because the debt consolidation company has probably dragged their foot so long that this credit card company who doesn't want to agree to your terms is making trouble. If you have known at the outset, you could own kept the other credit cards with the debt consolidator and tried to work on your own beside the other one, but that seems approaching it might not work now.

Also, collapse is expensive, and you'll probably NOT be able to find someone to do it for free but shop around. A legal representative might give you a break since what you owe isn't adjectives that much. Some states allow you to file on your own, but it is extremely complicated, and it get even more complicated if your creditors decided to end in trouble.

Good luck, and I hope that my answer was kind.

(Oh, before I forget...some debt consolidation contracts hold weird wording surrounded by there something like bankruptcy. Make sure that you don't violate your contract beside them by doing so, although I'm not sure that'll make much difference. You may enjoy to end your services next to them before doing so)
