For how long does a personal liquidation (Chapter 7) stay on your credit report?
I think it's any 7 or 10 years. Which is it? And after that time how do you get it removed?Answers: Chapter 7 stays on for 10 years from the date of file.
If after 10 years, it doesn't come off automatically you would own to file a dispute beside the CRA(s) as obsolete
chapter 7 - 10 years
chapter 11 - 7 years
7 years to vivacity especially if they ask you if you ever had collapse. On the bottom of credit report it always is in attendance.
i think around 7 yrs too.
"Potentially negative information, such as missed payments and most public narrative items remain on a personal credit report for 7 years, with the exception of Chapters 7, 11 and 12 bankruptcy, which remain for 10 years,"
10 years
10
In Canada its 7 years from the date of discharge. If you have a second collapse, both are then shown on your credit report for 14 years from the date of respectively discharge. Sucks to be Canadian eh!
Credit card bills coming belated within the messages?
Has anyone noticed that the bills from a exceptional credit card company are arriving late. Even though the cycle date be Jan 7, I received the bill Jan 19. It is due on Jan 27. Basically the earliest I can mail it is Tuesday, Jan. 22 (Monday is a holiday). Anyone reason that this company is trying to play "beat the clock"? Send the bills out behind schedule in hopes that the payments will be unpaid, then charge a unpaid charge, and increase interest rates.P.S. I checked my balance surrounded by advance, and rewarded the bill in human being before the bill come.
Answers: Go to www.ripoffreport.com and type in the entitle of the company... you can get a angelic idea if near have be other consumers that this is happening to and you can also caution people in the region of your experience..
I do think that they company would enjoy a strong motivation for increasing interest rates in this deportment because they can blame the increase on the consumer
(in fact if you christen them to tell them in the order of it they will tell you that as a courtesy they will 'waive' your belatedly charges) but they wont do a damn thing in the order of your increased interest rate
If its happening regularly, dump that card.
