Credit Questions and Answers

How do credit cards work?

When you use your credit card to buy something, how does the store make their money if your paying off the credit card company? I don't get it, please explain to me.

Answers: The credit card company pays the bill for you. You presently owe the credit card money. When you don't pay, it charges you interest so it's due more than what you rewarded. It is able to bring in money based on charging fees for vendor and accruing interest from those who suspension payment. Credit card companies if truth be told want you to accrue interest for their profits.
the store made money because the cc company paid them for the item you bought. consequently you pay the cc company rear legs with BIG interest... to be exact how the cc company makes $.

use lolly, avoid credit cards. you'd be better off.
You (from this point forward referred to as SLAVE TO THE BANK), donate the credit card to the store, the store gets the money from your purchase from the CC and next you AKA STTB get a statement every month from your master. If you don't compensate your master 100% on time, you will be paying an extra 9,10,24% depending on the type of CC you are using.

Moral of the story.

Credit Cards = Slavery

If you don't own the money, don't buy it.
The credit card company pays the store.

It's more complicated (your credit card company pays the credit card network which pays the store's credit card processing company which pays the store, or something close to that), but you get the concept.
Credit card transactions are like mini-loans. You progress to the store and buy a dough-nut for a dollar and hand the desk clerk your credit card. The clerk will deposit the receipt into his checking tale and the credit card company will pay him his dollar minus a tax ... say 97cents. Store have his money and is happy. Now the credit card company have your dollar. They send you the bill and if you PAY IT BY THE DUE DATE consequently all you owe is the dollar. If not next they will charge you interest on the dollar until it is paid.

Is this possible?

I have a bill that have been sold to a collection agency. I want to craft payments. But I do not want them to contact me or my relatives via telephone. My grill is, is it possible to send them a C&D reminder and still make payments or will it be sent to another collection agency?

Answers: As long as you agree to pay cheque them I'm sure they would not mind conversing with you by correspondence.

Be sure and try to get a pay cheque for delete agreement where they agree to delete the report from your credit in return for your money before you reward them a dime.
To stop phone calls distribute them a limited call a halt & desist letter simply asking them to one and only contact you by US mail.

Before you fashion payments you need to know if the debt is inside SOL for your state. If it's not you do not owe it. And before you settle up you need to own them send you validation of the debt. Otherwise how do you know you in truth owe them?
As for the pay for delete....they seldom if ever work. Unless you have a signed contract (not newly a letter requesting the rate for delete) from the collection agency don't believe they will delete the account from your reports.
Collection agencies don't buy 'bills', they buy DEBT, and BAD debt at that!
It is unlikely they will need to correspond by letter, as that ability more time, money and administration for them. You can ask, logically, but they can contact you in whichever route they see fit.
Of course, if you set up a Direct Debit to them for an agreed, regular amount, and do nt default, I see no basis they would need to contact you.
