Credit Questions and Answers

Credit Card Co. is checking my credit report monthly for 2 years?

I just requested my credit report and saw that. Does anyone know why they are doing this? There are 2 companies doing this. Every month since Jan. 2006 they are requesting my credit report. Is this hurting my credit rating and should I be worried? I am thinking of calling these companies and demanding to know why they are doing this.

In honesty, I'm not sure why they would do it every month for 2 years considering it costs them money, but if it hasn't artificial your relationship with them I would vote it's nothing to verbs about.

Question almost my credit card and int rate?

if i buy something for $100, and the int rate is at 21.1%, does that mean i will catch a bill for $121.1 on the first month?

how does it work? is the 21% a one time payment, or does it maintain adding every month if i merely pay the min.

$100 is of late an ex. I am buying something for 500.

Answers: 21.1% is the annual rate. Divide by 12 to find the monthly rate (which does keep count every month).
21.1% APR = 21.1% Annual Percentage Rate. That means that the $100 would accrue $21.10 over a YEAR.

Check out these calculators for more information something like credit card interest, payments, etc.
Find another card. 21% is out of line contained by today's market. Find one tied to the Federal Reserve rate at a credit league. Ours is currently less than 8% APR.

How can i add & delete things of my credit that are true?

Answers: you cant add or delete anything

your creditors must send that request to the bureau's and then the bureau remove or add as instructed by the creditor

if something is on there that doesn't belong to you then you can dispute it with the bureau and they will contact that creditor
Well, I had a friend that disputed everything he wanted, some which was true and was able to get it removed from his credit report.
The rule is, or so he said, is if the creditor company gets your dispute and does not respond within a given time 30 days, or whatever it is, then it has to be removed from your credit report. It worked for him for a couple things taken off that increased his credit score.
Mind you though, you may want to read the details and specifics about disputing things on your credit report though at the websites for transunion, experian, and equifax credit agencies.
Also, the only really True free credit report is on ' annualcreditreport.com ' and not the other one which is advertised so much on tv. That one as they say on there in the fine print has to do with fees after an initial period.
