Credit Questions and Answers

Are in attendance refusal effects for signing up for credit card offer and later canceling?

There are lots of offers that impart away free stuff for signing up for a credit card. Assuming that I just sign up, seize the reward and then undo, does that hurt my credit or anything else? Thank you

Answers: It can.

"Every time you apply for credit, the application shows up on your credit report as a credit inquiry. These inquiries stay on your credit report for two years, but only factor into your credit gain for one year. Inquiries not initiated by you, like description reviews by existing accounts, promotional inquiries and you requesting your credit report for review, don't factor into your credit score.
"Inquiries can enjoy a greater impact, however, if you have few accounts or a short credit history. Large numbers of inquiries also be set to greater risk: People with six inquiries or more on their credit reports are eight times more possible to declare liquidation than people near no inquiries on their reports."
Well is that really how you want to be remembered?

"Here lies Michael B. He sure did get like mad of free crap from credit card companies."
Yes there is. Your FICO ranking depends on how many credit cards you apply for and sign up for.

Too heaps and it will lower your credit rating / FICO score. How various is too many, I hold no idea, but it does lower it if you hold alot.
I jump at any extend for AAdvantage miles. Do most of my traveling that way. My credit chalk up is 780.

Never bothered me.

The hard module is to keep files so you don't have a payment in a year. Cancel surrounded by the 11th month. I activate the card after cut it up and never...never make a purchase beside it.

Fun
If you have lots credit cards and are seriously into credit card debt, chances are worthy that you must be thinking of getting rid of few credit cards. The strange fact is that if you find rid of a credit card without giving thought to the points scheduled below, you could be shooting yourself in the foot. Yes, it could spoil your credit history further. Here is how this happens.

Assume that you hold 3 credit cards with the following background

Card A: $2000 credit limit - $1000 Outstanding Balance
Card B: $5000 credit hinder - $2500 Outstanding Balance
Card C: $10000 credit limit - $5000 Outstanding Balance

With these credit cards the background that emerges is that you hold a total credit limit of $17000 of which you hold an outstanding balance of $8500 or 50%. The certainty is that the percentage of your outstanding balance to credit time limit should be low. The credit rating agencies prefer it to be in the edges of around 30%.

Now suppose you decide to running out your Credit Card A and transfer adjectives its balances to credit card B supposing that it have a low APR. Now you have a total credit bound of $15000 and outstanding balance of $8500 (providing the match transfer doesn't increase the credit limits). With this step your outstanding symmetry to credit limit ratio go up to 57%(rounded off).

So, the net result is closing moments a credit card will increase your debt to limit ratio which is not honourable for credit history.

Is $1000 a obedient downpayment for an $8000 vehicle?

My fiance is going to be attempting to finance a vehicle in the next 30 days. We are going to our dune tomorrow to talk to a loan officer nearly getting financed.

His credit is pretty bad (dont know an exact number but do know its smaller amount then 600) ...but the worst item was default student loans that are now completely rotten his credit. He's been at his available job for 3 years. We are willing to adopt a higher interest rate as we do realize at hand is no way around it. So, do you reflect based on the few details you hold, that we could finance a vehicle? $8000 is our MAXIMUM price.we found a vehicle for $6500 that we love!!

Also, we live within Michigan. Anyone know of any finance companies or dealerships we could contact?

Thanks so much...oh and no rude comments please!

Answers: If you live contained by Michigan and just approaching many other states, that
hold had flooding. You want to carry the "VIN. number checked
out. It may have be in a stroke of luck, or the owner neglected
the repairs and maintenance needed on the warrenty.
When you put money down on a coup¨¦. The more that you put
down. The lower the payments will be per month.
Many of the dealers. Do finanace their own. It may be a bit
cheaper, because the bank are in the credit crunch.
Do your homework first. Never agree to a salesman know your in
love beside a car. He will pressure you to sign very soon, because
the car will be sold tommorrow, when it have been sitting in attendance
for weeks. If given a hassle, don't be afraid to walk out, and
don't look spinal column. Because, with adjectives the cars on the market,
nearby is plenty to choose from.
It may be better to buy from a co-worker, relative, or a good
neighbor, you know have taken good thoroughness of their car. You
will afterwards be happier in the long run, but you will own to get
fiananced by your ridge or Credit Union, that your pick.
You better get in place to have one of his parents to "co-sign"
next to his bad credit, that he have had, only just in travel case. <}:-})
Bad credit is a bummer... I am just pulling myself out of like peas in a pod thing. I file bankruptcy almost 3 years ago and just in a minute was competent to get financing for my vehicle. My gain is above 600 though.

I live in Wisconsin, and here near are several dealerships that have Poor Credit lots and such. You may involve to go to greatly like that contained by order to start rebuilding your credit. I know a big one here is J.D. Byryder.

Good luck!
Any down salary is better than none at all, but I would in recent times save up seperately and buy the coup¨¦ with dosh. I had an behind the times beater car for a while that be $900, then I go out a year later and get myself a 7 series bmw with change in foot.

You'd pay more on the interest than you'd remuneration getting a cheap car, utter less than 1k... driving that for a while and good. Saving would actually PAY YOU interest, fairly than paying the loan people interest.
I go into raptures over your mature attitude in the region of repairing your poor credit history. It sounds like you will be on a upright road soon. I think that $1000 is satisfactory down payment for a $6500 vehicle. It depends on who will hold the paper (loan). Good luck!
