British Gas?
I have a statement from British Gas and on it it states that I am lb500 within credit and that the credit will be carried forward to my next statement. That will be difficult as I am presently on a pre pay meter as it make things a lot easier as I am on a low income and it encourage me to think more of turning things past its sell-by date when not needed and I am immediately using far less electricity.I own written to Brisitish Gas about this on several occasion now and I only just seem to be passed around the houses so who can I write to subsequent to get my money wager on and any interest it has accrue whilst with British gas.
Answers: Hi,
you necessitate to contact British Gas by phone, when you eventually get through get a note of the time you ring (nearly all call are recorded) and the name of the party you are speaking to, explain your predicament ie the letters, if you are not optimistic with the operator advice, insist to speak to a chief there and after, again when you speak to the manager breed a note of the time and the moniker of the manager. If your request is not sorted out, you consequently need to write again, this time you will own times and names of ancestors you have spoken to, also dispatch your letter by record delivery, this have to be signed for which makes a complaint like mad easier to sort out, as you have written documentary evidence throughout your complaint. Companies resembling British Gas and others are so huge, letters and accounts of phone calls are lost as they are literally thousands of complaints made, by taking these steps you enjoy more control, (hopefully you don't have to walk this far) you can take BG to the small claims court for the return of your money, your shield will be very strong as you will own documentary evidence of your contact with Bgas. Hope this help.
when did you get your meter changed? The certainty that you received a statement suggests that they are still billing you on a credit meter. If your meter change is recent they may not enjoy your meter details through yet, this can rob longer than you think. If you are so within credit why did you need a prepayment meter? its incredibly rare that somone who struggles to settle for their electricity can get into lb500 credit. You wont catch your credit back if it have accrued whilst on the prepayment meter. Prepayment meters are horrendous as they habitually show as in credit or within debt and it is hard to explain. If they are still billing you on a credit meter it will explain why your within credit as your meter is charging you one price and they are billing you to another. You will also be receiving positive discounts and lower prices to what you should do as youll be on a non prepayment tariff. when they realise and re-bill you, your credit will disappear.
You cant just whip them to a small claims court, you have to donate them sufficient time to correct their errors. There is a thing call the billing code of conduct, but it only stands if they own been billing you incorrectly for 15 months. They are not in somebody`s debt to give you the credit wager on if they can justify the defence why it is not a true credit. You can complain to the ombudsman but you have to prove that you own had an depart complaint with BG for over 30 days, so the first point you do is ring them and ask them to open a complaint. Remember BG are infamous for their complaints, chances are if you bear them to court you wont win, its like trying to sue McDonalds.
P.S interest does not accrue on accounts, the credit you see will remain one and the same if its in your tale for 2 days or 2 years. any interst received is absorbed by the company.

Please refine me.
Answers: Yes you can use it wherever Visa is standard! All u need to do is to christen customer service and tell them that you'll be out of country. They'll ask u how long u'll be gone and when! if u don't do this, ur card transaction may be decline in the Philippines because fraud bureau is alert coz they presume that ur card were stolen!! In the philippines, card transactions at malls, restaurants etc. they don't ask your pin, they freshly swipe and then u'll sign on it! similar to a credit card transaction but it will be deducted to ur information! Also be aware of transaction fees and ATM fees!! Oo, pwede mo yang gamitin sa pilipinas! ok? claro na ba?? kasi nga VISA yan! were ever visa is agreed!
the previous person be correct. Also keep contained by mind that while you are down there any purchases you generate will be subject to a forgein currency exchange fee (3% of the purchase). If you use an ATM over nearby there will be a $5 international ATM duty, plus the exchange rate fee. If you want change you are better off going to a wall that accepts Visa and do a change advance, afterwards you will only own the exchange fee. Also it is suggested to own a second form of payment similar to traveler's checks, which can be purchased at the branch and are garentted if lost of stolen.
