Answers: One choice is to retribution it and go to your credit history. If it does appear, describe the online bank report guys that you made a small mistake. Then, they will figure out how to help yourself to it off from your credit report.
If your transmittal wasn't 30 days late you should be ok. If they would put a postponed on your account you could transport the company a goodwill letter relating them you've been a customer for X number of years and never overdue before and how this one time it be a typo that caused the overdue and ask for it to be removed.

Haven't totalled it up lately, but think we have $40,000 or so in credit card debt, plus whatever's left on his BMW loan (nearly paid off; but was supposed to be paid off last year...) Sadly most of it is due to the reason my husband moved out a couple years ago -- when I found out he'd been nearly living in a "highend" strip club, when my credit card company called me to verify an unusual charge. He wants a divorce, and this debt is going to really make my life interesting since some of it is in my name, even if he does honor his promise to pay it all off himself.
His AMEX was cancelled and sent to collection, and he's been late and maxed his VISA so often that his interest on that card is now 32.99%. Sadly enough, now he's starting to get credit offers in the mail again. Jeez, just how desperate are the vultures for cash?
My own card I got after that WITHOUT HIM ON THE ACCOUNT, I pay off every month. Period.
None, We charge up to $2000 a month but pay it off monthly. Both cars are paid off (1997 & 2004).
When I was younger and foolish I owed up to $40,000. Got wise, paid it off and paying cash for everything (except mortgage). Life is great now.
20-25K. But trust me, I learned my lesson. Its a once in a lifetime rut for me, but it will NEVER happen again!
But the bright side is, I've been through 3 yrs of college without any student loans or financial aid. I paid my tuition in cash because I USED to have good saving habits. I also have never had a car payment, always saved up the money to buy one with cash(10K). I used to have good saving habits...
To have the best credit control you should not carry more than 33% of its available balance.
