How do you remove a judgement from your credit report when in that are documentation of if?
I'm trying to buy a home, to get the loan the wall asked me to pay sour a collection which in my credit report say it's a judgement. I went to the county court and in attendance are no records of any judgements file against me. The county clerk gave me a note that states that I have no civil files. What should I do to have this removed from my credit report? Or how do you rate this off if nearby is no record of it?Answers: If at hand is no judgment record with the court after there is no result to pay.
When you dispute a sentence with the CRA's, the CRA's "never" draw from their verification from the courts.
They draw from the verification from a third body, though they will "not" openly acknowledge it..
When you dispute with the CRA's, use a credit report that you "paid" the CRA for.
Do not use the free per annum FACTA report.
When disputing from a paid report, the CRA's enjoy 30 days to finish their investigation (and 5 extra days to mailing the results)
When disputing from the free FACTA report the CRA's enjoy 45 days plus 5 days for mailing.
"Do not" contact the CRA while you enjoy a dispute in process. Doing so, even if your contact have nothing to do near your dispute, the CRA's may claim new information be provided and add an extra 15 days to their investigation time spell.
I would not recommend sending a copy of the letter the court clerk give you in next to your first dispute.
You might send a dispute to the CRA's approaching the following:
Your name, address and SSN
The CRA designation & address
Dear CRA,
There is a judgment programmed on my report #xxxxx.
There is no such judgment of register # xxxx from this Court for this date for this amount from this creditor.
I have [certified?] documentation from the Court that supports my dispute of this erroneous entry on my report. [remove the word certified if the memorandum the court clerk gave you is not certified]
If this entry is verified, please distribute me the name and address of the provider or furnisher providing this background, and the manner within which it was provided within order that I may pursue extramural legal remedies.
Sincerely,
Your heading
If the CRA claims it is verified and it remains, file a complaint near the FTC.
Along with your complaint to the FTC you should provide a copy of the CRA dispute, a copy of the results from the CRA and a copy of the memorandum the court clerk gave you.
If you own more than one CRA that verified, you should file seperate compaints next to the FTC (one for each CRA).
You might place the complaints within the same envelope but they should be bundled seperately.
Include a cover memo stating there is more than one complaint included contained by that envelope
After you file your complaint near the FTC, redispute with the CRA's. Include a copy of your "full" complaint beside the FTC. Which includes all of the copies you sent to the FTC.
Though if your complaint covers more than one CRA, do not include the complaint for one CRA within with your second dispute for a different CRA.
(for example, you profile complaints to the FTC for TU and EX. When you redispute with TU do not include the complaint info for EX, etc)
The FTC will do zilch on an individual basis. But that does not plan your FTC complaint does not carry counterweight.
The CRA's do not like complaints file against them with the FTC.
If plenty complaints are filed, the FTC will move about after them with the complaints as a intact and not as individual complaints.
If the FTC goes after them, the CRA's could reimburse far more than they could if individuals file suits on their own.
Hopefully the CRA's will remove it formerly you have to profile an FTC complaint. But if they do verify it, you would stand a good providence of having it removed once the CRA is aware an FTC complaint have been file.
Pay nothing! Make 5 copies of that precious notification and send 1 to TransUnion, 1 to Experian, and 1 to Equifax. Take one to the loan officer contained by person. And hold on to the original and 1 copy contained by your files.don't have "files"? Then progress to WalMart buy a plastic tote a a couple of folders...tada you have files!
And please notify me you checked your credit reports BEFORE you tried to get the loan! What if that judgement is planned under another SS# or dub...such as Jon Doe versus John Doe? You need to see your credit reports and check for errors within the personal info before applying for credit. Possibly some other Jon Doe have a judgement and you don't. And you should have checked your FICO also!!
If in attendance is no record of it later you will need to dispute the item next to the credit bureau that is reporting it. If it is not verified inside 30 days then it will be delete. You can either distribute the credit bureau a letter, or do an online dispute.

I would suggest a second cut time job for awhile and cut out adjectives non necessary expenses until your finances are contained by order. This can be a transient position to be in unless you over spend your income continuously. Good Luck.
Maybe you should go and get a job and start making payments on your debt. Or acquire a second job.
Credit Card Settlement?
Okay, so I have a credit card that have late payments and overdraft fees added every month. I owe a MINIMUM recompense of at least $1,000. What do I say/do to settle and will this hurt my credit much worse than it already is? I want to setlle next to my tax return, but am unsure of how much it will be until I catch my taxes filed. Should I be in motion ahead and tell them this very soon? Or wait until I enjoy my tax return and after call them? They hold been calling me greatly lately, and it is with the inspired company, Chase, I do not think I hold been sent to collections, but not sure. Please facilitate! Thanks!Answers: I agree with mycreditwealth bring in sure before you take-home pay get everything they promise you contained by writting before you reward them. They will promise you the moon to get your money and after once they do you never hear from them again.
I liked the other poster's comments.
I want to tag on that if there be /is a special reason that you own fallen trailing, you might wan to share that with the big three credit agencies.
This statement can be sent to anyone who pulls your credit and it will hand over them an explanation as to what happened during this time.
i dont know how much substance it would carry but of course if this is unusual, it might help to own that explanation ready for them to read. It will be sent respectively time your a hard inquiry is made to your credit directory.
You should also look at Credit Restoration, to have those unpunctually payments deleted from your profile, don't foot any collections, until they are deleted from your credit profile, since you would be contained by a much better position to negotiate after they have be deleted from your credit profile at adjectives three (privately owned) credit reporting agencies.
