Answers: Angi - You are looking for the easy road here. There's no trouble-free road, there's no magic pill. You and lone you are the answer.
Get fighting silly. Get a second job, a third opening, a fourth job. Work every sunshine. Make income and put every dime on this debt. Sell anything you can and get the money applied THAT time to your debt.
Don't delay this, not sooner or later.
Capital One offers a credit card locked to 2% above prime.
Also, bank will offer lines of credit as low as 1% above prime if you immobilize the loan with other holdings (estate, investment, or business.)
i don't conjecture it looks bad on your cedit report unless you skip payments, but you should step to a bank to capture consolidated.
there is a place you can budge and they don't ask much questions ,but the interest is somewhat high it's call citi financial
I didn't know it makes you look discouraging. Oh darn it. I was going to do that myself. Now it's fund to the backup plan I guess.
Win the lottery jack pot. That's the only route I'm going to pay sour my debt.
Sorry Angi, but I'm the WORST person to ask give or take a few debt. I am (hopefully) in the end few months of a very complex career transition. In that, I've lost thousands. In that, I'm paying for a divorce and house payments for a house I don't live contained by any more. So any advice I bestow you about getting out of debt is as apposite as listening to a conversation gold fish.
Old Creditor?
I received a bill from an old creditor. The bill is at tiniest 15 years old, and at hand appears to be added interest. It is for a Gym membership..that redundant to say took profit of my youth and ignorance. I continued to pay as long as I be going...as I understood it that be all I needed to do.When I stopped going I be billed some outragous amount of money. It was be something under $1000, in a minute they are sending me a bill for over that amount. I never paid it because I grain they lied(tricked) me into signing a contract. Admittedly I should have read the fine print, but resembling I said, I was a youthful naive college student. My examine is now 15 years or more subsequently do I still have to take-home pay this. And why is it still on my credit report?Answers: I wouldn't pay it
dispute it near the credit agencies since the statute of limitations should have expired
Most credible from a collection agency that buys old debts. Next they will threaten to purloin you to court. Best part of it is the statute of limitations have definitely run out, and if they call you permit them know that. If they file a court motion against you do not miss that court date because you defense is the SOL has run out, and it will be dismissed. If you do not show up (which is what they hope for) they will win by defaulting and you will be held liable for it. Again do not pay, but be heedful of any tactics they might use.
Is it a infringement of HIPPA for med bills (hospital bill $48,000) to be on credit reports?
I'm job hunting and they verbs reports before they hire you. I'm surrounded by my 50's and very in shape, but they may use this to assume I have medical problems that I no longer enjoy. Anyone know how to get the medical stuff removed from credit reports? This should be a despoliation of HIPAA because it should be a private matter when it can affect my brief applications or applying for medical insurance. Help?Answers: Sorry, but these are public records and are not covered by HIPPA.
The singular reason they are on your credit report is because you did not pinch care of them at the time.
As far as removing them, one and only time will do that per the Fair Credit Reporting Act derogatory accounts show for 7-years from the date of first delinquency which works out to 7-years and 180-days.
Any accounts that show for longer then that can be disputed and removed.
Mexico and 3rd world countries usually proposition record expunges after 7-15 years.
Or sue for nouns.
No, it is not a HIPPA violation. It single displays the amount owed on a credit report, not what your services were (which WOULD be a violation).
Your medical library are private, not your debt records.
