Answers: You should always dispute incorrect information on your credit database. This may be due to another person's address added to your file by mistake. I other dispute any wrong info on my credit report.
no your address doesen't matter as long as

Credit card interest rates..how can I bring them lowered?

There are three credit cards on which I owe, on average, about $1,500. I enjoy been paying a super glorious interest rate -30% on one card - and it's "driving me broke."
Is there any path of approaching these companies -short of
signing up with a debt collection agency - to draw from them to lower the rates and work out a payment plan? I know someone who said that if you speak to them contained by the right way
you can find a significant lowering of your interest rates. I want to pay these debts past its sell-by date but the high interest rate is bloodbath me.When I call them or vice versa and ask if there's a special department that deal with such requests what I hear is"You can accord with me" and we receive nowhere!
Thanks,
David

Answers: You can call them and ask them to lower the interest rate and mention that you would verbs the balance to lower APR credit card. There is strong possibility that they might not lower your interest rate. You should check your credit report and FICO chalk up to see whether you have delinquent accounts and/or slow payments. You should also compare and apply for a lower APR, high credit restraint and cash support credit card. Then transfer your match to the new card. The best solution would be to retribution your balances and within future reimburse all your bills prompt and in full. Then you would not hold worry more or less high credit card balance and interest rates.
Assuming that you are current with your costs you might try two things:
First you want to call them and simply ask them if they will lower your rates. If they read out no tell them that you will hold to take your business elsewhere)
Next look online for a MAJOR credit card proffer. Such as Capital one or something large (DO NOT use these alien green dot or whatever it is entry that has be floating around lately)
Apply and attempt in the application to verbs the balance of adjectives the credit cards to the new card. Then when you capture the new card do not use it. close the aged credit card accounts. Simply pay down the money as promptly as you can. When you have finally compensated off the harmonize then you can start using the credit card again.

The explanation that I am telling you to do it this passageway is as follows:
1. by giving the credit card company that you are already with one ultimate chance they will put into your profile that you attempted to prolong the relationship. (that may come in handy following in life)
2. By transfering the symmetry you will usually get a superior limit and a better rate from the alien card.
3. On your credit report you will see (in about a year impose these things take time) that you have three revolving credit lines which where later closed and transferred to one larger one. This was consequently paid sour quickly minus increasing the amount of debt.
4. When all is said and done you will primarily show on your credit report that you took three small amounts of credit, consolidated them, paid them bad with the availablility of a larger amount of credit that you DID NOT USE. This will bring your score to be in motion up and the next time you apply for something (like a car) you will find that you find a larger credit line as you necessarily proved that you can handle more credit.

So to sum up if you set your mind to it you will find yourself beside a higher credit boundary, lower interest and better credit in one year and you didn't even own to pay a debt consolidation firm. (which 9 times out of 10 will verbs your credit in the process, they brand your payments get subsequently and later to force a work out rate out of the credit card companys)\

How to improve my credit score if i dont want to apply for credit lines?

Answers: Well first, it would help to know what makes up your score:

1. Payment history- 35%
2. Total debt owed to available credit ratio-30%
3. Length of time establishing credit-15%
4. Types of credit established-10%
5. Inquiries and New accounts-10%

With that said, the 2 biggest factors are paying on time and the ratio of the credit you're currently using to the credit you have available. It's important that you pay all your open accounts on time and keep the balances on your credit cards down to where it's no higher than 30% of the available credit. If you have collection items on your report, depending on how old they are, you may be able to negotiate a "pay to delete", which is a payment in exchange for removing it from your report. Paying charge offs and collections alone will not help your score, in fact it could hurt it, although the account would be paid.

What the other posters have said is correct, it takes good credit that's reporting to build credit. If you don't have any positive trade lines open, it is next to impossible to increase your score. Another option that you can do to build credit is report your monthly bills like rent, cell, utlities with a credit bureau called PRBC. PRBC is America's Alternative Credit Bureau, providing a helpful service to the over 50 million people with limited or no credit history. If you pay your monthly bills on time, PRBC can help you build credit to qualify for a mortgage and better interest rates.On-time payments for the following bills are not reported to the traditional credit bureaus:

Rent
Cable
Phone
Daycare
Insurance
Electric
Natural Gas
Cell Phone

The only time your payments for these bills are reported to the other credit bureaus is if they're missing or late. With PRBC, your on-time payments count. You build credit for paying your bills on time, even if you have no credit history. PRBC offers two simple ways to start building credit today.

In closing, just a few more things to keep in mind.

-Don't spend more than 30% of your combined available credit on all your cards.

-Only apply for credit when necessary.

-Dont close unused accounts.

-Pay on time

Hope this helps...

Thanks for reading and...

Good luck!
Do you currently have any credit lines? If not I don't know how much you will be able to improve your credit score!

In college, I wanted to work on my credit, so I opened a very low credit line and used it to pay my cell phone bill each month, and inturn paid off my cc bill each month. I'm not sure how much it helped my credit, but I know it didn't hurt it. Now I've had that card open for 5 years and that is a big credit booster too!!

The trick was that I never activated my card. I just had the account number so I was able to make the payment over the phone, that way I was never tempted to use it out and about!
Pay every thing on time and over the years, your score will improve.

If you have credit cards and are carrying balances, pay them off.
