I think u will get the credit card only if u have an account with that particular bank who r issuing the credit card.
And if u get the card by any means, every credit crad will have a period of time to clear those debts. (Maximum of 22 to 30 days) And If u dont clear those debts, definitely they r going to cancel the credit card in the next minute.

your question is incomplete. Why you want a credit card in India? Basically credit card results in borrowing and hence the issuing bank (i.e. potential lender) would like to know your repayment capacity. Can you expect any lender to lend money (not donate) without enquiring about the repayment capacity. If you have account abroad and the overseas banker assuers the Indian banker about reimbursement, then the problem can be resolved. But in that case the overseas bank could very well issue an international credit card that can be utilised in India also!

Why I feel this is undisruptive it the fact they you can foot with paypal. Use paypal and this merchant will never see your credit information. If your still cautious, try ebay. I'm sure you can find that mouse there and near are is a way to folder a grievance if there are any problems. Again you paypal and you will be pretty past the worst.

I don't believe you even went as far as replying to this scam e-mail before waiting to ask. Change all your passwords now and if you have ever put any banking details on your pc, contact your bank and cancel all your cards.
With these scam emails, not only can they get your money by you paying for that card, but also by the links in these e mails. They either lead to phishing sites, which would probably look like a normal yahoo sign in page, or these links install spies the moment you click on them, meaning everything you type on your pc is being watched by someone else.
Call your local police department or better yet go there and report it. Don't use it.
