My husband and I are trying to buy a house. He bought a car within 2004 and found something bad on his credit from when he be 16. It wasn't his but obviously someone have opened up an report in his heading. It was taken charge of and removed. Now we are trying to buy a house this fall and hold gotten our free credit report. There is ANOTHER account that have just shown up stating November 2005 as its origination date; however after disputing they returned it support to his credit and sent a letter axiom the actual origination date for the account be June of 2001. My husband was 17 afterwards so it happened right after the first identity robbery. They refuse to remove it from his picture. Is it not 18 that someone can legally enter into a contract? Its not his to instigate with but also the certainty he was a minor at the time should facilitate settle this dispute should it not? Any help contained by this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in finance!

Answers: There's usually a time limit on how long you can access the free report. I can't remember what it is. I usually reclaim mine to my computer and print it.

If you only get one free report, you can still get a free one from the other two credit bureaus. You're allowed one respectively 12 month from all 3 - Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.
You can bring back another credit report for a small fee. Call Trans Union toll free # 1-877-322-8228.
