Charge Off?

Question...My credit report shows Citi Financial charging off 300 for my credit card...but NCO is calling me for the money. I know that they sold it, but if i recompense NCO and ask for a deletion, would they delete the Citi information b/c there is no NCO vindication showing up on my credit.
thanks

Answers: There are no guarantees that the collection agency would clear the sketch. Citi Financial would have to clear it sour your credit report and since they have already charged it past its sell-by date, they would not be likely to delete it either.
Hi nearby,

Most consumers are worried for the money they owe. $50 or $5000 is the same within terms of credit. The material problem is that the debt gets reported by the creditors/collectors to the bureaus. You will be amazed how unproblematic is to delete an account from your report by writing a dispute directly to the bureaus -not to the collector-. As per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, credit bureaus must complete an investigation of the disputed items in 30 days. We all know how difficult is for the creditors to reply to such requests if they receive tons of them day after day. The clue to have complete nouns is to be able to administrate the process completely. For this, there's a tool that will relieve you to become a master regarding to credit repair, and can also be used for a lifetime. I am conversation about Credit Healer Software for credit repair. Does the National do not phone up registry really work?

I put my number on there vertebrae in Sept. 2007.

Lately I hold been getting this toll free number calling me and it tell me that they want to deposit $1500 in my sandbank acct if I just dispense my acct info over the phone (yea right, I would never do that) then it give me an option to press a indubitable number to opt out..well, when I do that, it warn me that by doing that, they are going to put bad things on my credit report and engender it hard for me to win credit anywhere. I went ahead and did it anyways.. I KNOW, it sounds unreal...but specifically what they said.

Well, I got a bid from them again today so I decided to report them to the registry..But will they in actuality stop calling me now that I hold done that?

Answers: They will probably not stop calling you. It is more than likely not a telemarketer, but a scam artist. Call your police department (not 911) and narrate them you are getting a harrassing phone call from some one who is trying to intimidate you into giving them money. They should investigate this and hopefully embezzle care of those relatives.
Good luck and take assistance!!

That's more than a pesky telemarketer. That sounds like a frank scam, usually used on more gullible senior citizens. You should report them to authorities higher than the DNC detail. This is probable criminal activity.

Normally, the DNC registry works... to an extent. Like, if you own a certain credit card, they can send for you with offer for such things as "payment protection," because you are already a customer.

Good luck!!
Well a crook's not going to much thought if he violates the Do Not Call registry. Curious scam, though.
