Credit Questions and Answers

College classes not dropped, how does it afffect my credit?

I signed up for college classes this past summer, but didn't turn. I do remember going online and dropping them but they kept sending me a bill. Well I ignored the bill because I know I hadn't taken the classes. Well now they've sent me to a collection agency. I don't hold $1000 to pay for these classes and I don't enjoy a job to trimmings the wages from.

What happens if I forget about it? Does it go on my credit report? How disappointingly does it affect my credit? If I fight next to the agency and still have to reimburse it can I wait to remuneration it after I get a career?

Answers: Depends on the school, you really obligation to go contained by and talk to their supervision, or accounts department. You need to make clear to them that you dropped these classes online and really try to find a confirmation e-mail or something to help near you with the date that you (think you) dropped these classes.

I hold dropped classes online, at both a University and Community college, and was not charged for any.

Next time something like this happen to you, when you get the First bill- jump talk to them right away.

Good Luck near all of this...
Bill that travel to collections are very unpromising for your credit. Even if you don't agree with a bill, *never* ever give the brush-off it.

Call the college and see if you can work it out. Maybe they'll drop the bills, or reduce them.
If you remember going online to drop your classes
I'm sure you can argue going on for it. Just say you be confused
about the bill or something because you thought you have
dropped your classes. DON'T IGNORE IT. If you ignore it
it will attain worse and it will be harder for you to argue.
If you fight near the agency, I'm sure they will give you paying
option, either after you graduate or catch a job. I don't give attention to you have to
pay cheque 1000 up front. I mean you are a college student, I'm sure they'll figure out.
Do you have the mention number related to the dropping of the classes? It will go on your credit report. You can negociate near the college, I would, if you can't verify that you dropped your classes.

My credit scor is 696 is that accurate?

im 18 and want to maintain a suitable and even better credit score after i do how can i get a better win?
thanks!

Answers: 696 is a right score.

Ignore the guy who said don't use credit cards to bring good credit. What he should enjoy said is don't use them to buy things you can't afford. Your credit rating is a reflection of how trustworthy your are near your bills.

To improve your credit:
* other pay at smallest the minimum payment on any bill. Never shift in arrears
* show that you know how to use miscellaneous types of credit. If you have a credit card but don't use it, charge something small (like gas) every month consequently pay it surrounded by full.
* order your credit report, and enjoy any errors fixed.
credit scores will field between 350 and 850. For your age a 696 credit score is drastically good (or for any age)

To save a good or great credit chalk up don't use credit cards and pay your bills in good time (you can have credit card newly don't use them)

Edit_____________________

If you don't need the card it's better not to use it. And if you do you use it you should salary it off in the past the due date. This will help show a nil balance when they report.
680+ is usually considered Prime and 720+ is Super-Prime. Your ranking is good. Pay money in good time and your score will consider to be in motion up through time because length on bureau is important. If you own less than 5 tradelines, unambiguous a few more to get difficult credit limits.

Collections Letter - what to do?

I received a letter from a collections agency about a "charged off" account beside Capital One. The collections is not on my credit report. Should I send a Debt Settlement epistle to Capital One or to both?
If I call Capital One and inquire around when the last fee was made, or what the stability is minus late fees, etc. does that adjust the SOL and/or extend the 7 year reporting period?

Answers: Do you know when the finishing payment be made, i would send them a communication validating this debt first, this debt may be so ancient capitall one has nought to do with this debt.. DO NOT CALL ANYONE WITH THIS you will break open a flood gate. You do know what the SOL spend some time researching this. So adequate with me going on and on in the order of this here is what i suggest
1) pull and print your credit report, hold on to it. let say they re-report this "illegal"
2)send this validation memorandum I attached a sample, transport this certified
This debt was sold to a second-hand goods debt buyer most likly that buys balances for pennies on the dollar.
