The hospital never sent me a bill for their service. I assumed that my insurance company paid it so I didn't check up on it. By the time the collection agency tried to correspondence me I had moved (and foolishly did not enjoy my mail forwarded) so I never saw anything that said I owe them money. I just this minute noticed it showed up on my credit report and kill my credit score. It is a small amount so I am prepared to pay it but the fleck will stay on my credit report. Do I have a covering for disputing it with the credit bureu to procure the mark cleared?

I would also pay it past its sell-by date. That's a good put a bet on up plan. If it doesn't come off the first time, write to the company that billed you and ask them to remove it. Visit them if they are close satisfactory and explain the situation.
If that doesn't work, dispute it again as in the first step after 90120 days. It may come rotten then since it shows compensated and the company that received the money may just consent to come off.
