Can I switch my Credit from Mexican Bank to US Bank?

Hi bodies! I almost becom a resident in US, Last year I still lived within Mexico and I have a 12 years of well-mannered credit. I noticed contained by US the good credit is vastly important, but : Do I hold to start a Credit in the US again? or Can I hold my credit from Mexico within a US Bank?
