My husband and I have separated, and because he be very injudicious, I have a impossible credit report. I need to rent an apartment, but everyone presently runs a credit report. Is there anyway to rhythm the system with this?

Go to this gov't recommended, scam free site for one free report per agency per year. There are three agencies. Get adjectives three.

Next, see if there are things that you did not sign for and dispute the daylights out of adjectives of them. If they come back verified, Dispute using a notification of validation. Find info on that here:

Get educated something like your situation. Don't expect things to magically fall into place. Work on it and be diligent and your credit will develop.
Look in the weekly for individual landlords, not apartment complexes. They usually never check someone's report.
it's not likely but you can try disputing adjectives the negative items. they solely have so long to respond to the dispute (30 days i believe). most places don't mess near it unless it's a huge debt. it's worth a try otherwise, you'll either hold to file liquidation or just retribution off the unpromising debts. You will need to pocket whatever docs you hold proving what you claim and send them over to the three bureaus. A lot of the results on your credit report are not right and can be disputed.

Usually the way to cancel out a bad credit report is beside a large down giving. If you have any trouble getting an apartment, lately offer to double the deposit. That might abet.
