They then charged gas to their saloon 7 times right after getting my card! My credit card company forgave this, but I feel my identity is at risk of getting stolen.

Any law-savvy society out there that can support?

Warrant within Debt?

Answers:   Certainly sounds resembling you have a casing for it... I'm not a lawyer, but it sounds approaching you've got solid grounds for gross negligence and provable damages. But surrounded by the end, you're probably going to winding up up paying more for your legal fees than you would ever attain out of the restaurant -- so it may not be worth your time. But give a local attorney a name and ask -- can't hurt.

In the meantime, change your credit card next to your bank and sign yourself up for a service resembling LifeLock. No telling if these bozos are gonna try to start up credit in your entitle, and that's gonna cost you a bundle in time and money to fix if they do. I signed myself up for that a few weeks pay for after my car be stolen (there was agency too much info floating around in my glove box) and I've slept soundly ever since.

I want to know?

I would go see the owner of the Restaraunt NOW. He surely know all roughly speaking it. I am sure it would be more humane to settle this without an attorney. There is too much of that any process. Try to be civil and NOT angry. Speak softly and smile and things will work out... & u wont have to clear an Attorney... You need to check beside a lawyer to see if you enjoy a case.

Should I acquire this loan?

Since the credit card be covered and the police can't do anything, I think it would be a leftovers of your time to try to sue the restaurant. Although if the bad guy have your address and id and unless something happen in the adjectives due to their neglect afterwards you would have a stronger defence to sue. It's like proverb I am going to sue you based upon what may evolve in the adjectives. Until it happens you don't own a leg to stand on. My suggestion to you is to contact creditors such as Experian and/or Equifax and put a fraud alert out so if the person tries to obtain credit cards or any loans in your entitle they won't be able to in need contacting you directly.

Good luck.
