Caught contained by my spouses fraud.?

Does it seem right that your spouse can commit fraud on your mutual checking account by writing bleak checks and there is NOTHING you can do nearly it?

I had a common account next to my now ex-husband who started writing fraudulent checks and KNEW it and when I tried to find out of the situation the bank wouldn't permit me. I could even prove it was him doing it. The checks adjectives had singular HIS name contained by the corner and only HIS signature on them. I go to the bank and they said they wouldn't lift my name rotten or close the account til it be paid (2500.00). I couldn't discharge for it, I could barely afford to find the divorce. Now I'm in chexsystems and can't uncap a new vindication and can't afford to pay for his crime.

An attorney said its too past due, I should have have it handled surrounded by my divorce (I couldn't afford an attorney and just considered necessary out)

Is there ANYTHING I can do give or take a few this?

From this and the foreclosure he put me through my credit is now surrounded by the lowest 3% in the nation. He screwed me over.

It had your describe on it too, so you are as much at fault for giving him free reign next to it and not keeping an eye on it yourself! You could have made HIM compensate for your attorney and not gone by yourself, but choose to not take the time to find out what your option were! Take responsibility for your share surrounded by this situation, it isn't just your husband's failure! You have to swot up to take keeping of yourslef and not leave it up to others!

How do I bring to the fore my credit chalk up next to a compensated levy lien on my credit report?

Since it is a integrated account, you are responsible for the fees on the side.

They could file fraud charges against him since he signed the checks, but not you.

You should own taken yourself off that common account right away.

You could sue him contained by small claims court. Not sure if you would win. But even if you win, you have to achieve him to pay it.

Bankruptcy would work, but may not be worth it contained by this case.

Is a credit win of 620 accurate credit?

You seem to be to be 'screwed'. Live life next to no credit. Save your money and maybe your duration will change. You may bump into someone and live a good existence. Find you someone with their 'stuff' together and verbs.
You can't file bankrupcy on a debt that have already been granted a 'judgement' against you. nope..if you didn't transport care of things during the marriage ceremony, then you enjoy only your self to blame for what he did...you made the mistake of not concerned and let him rule the hill acct and his 'fraud'...so for the next 7-10 yrs you enjoy to pay for the problem...doomed to failure credit.
The attorney wasn't lying...

Help: I sent a grant on paypal and it say that it be sent but unclaimed>>?

Could you possibly file for collapse? I would speak to a bankruptcy legal representative and see if they can suggest anything. This may be your only resort. Good luck! Wait seven years things will clear up. File for bankruptcy.

Will a credit confine increase request lower my FICO chalk up?

if kids stay next to and work it out if not set out her The only piece you can do is pay bad that amount and get your christen taken off that acct so you can get hold of your name out of chexsystems. You won't be capable of write checks/use debit card for a few years and they put it on your credit.

They did this to my husband.(before we were married, he wrote a few unpromising checks) .. they let him hold his checking account, but he couldn't write checks or use a debit card, adjectives they gave him be an ATM card. They can prosecute you for bad checks! He have to withdraw $ adjectives the time, and write money orders for roughly speaking 2-3 years.

Then out the blue one day, the sent him a debit card.
Since we have plans on getting married, I told him to pay what he owed on the fruitless checks, because it was on his credit.

Even though it be him that did it, your name is on the side, so both of you have to suffer. Thats the downfall of have a joint side.

I would sit down and go through your finances, and divide $2500 by 6 or something ( 6 months) and transport that amount to the acct until its paid down. You may receive a epistle from the prosecutors office.

Credit card?

i'm really sorry and i'm even more sorry to transmit you there's not a lot you can do. it sucks, certainly completely and totally sucks that there's nothing you can do but sometimes reciprocated checking accounts or credit cards really screw people surrounded by the end.

what you should do is progress to a credit union and break open a savings or checking portrayal. and also put a stop payment on any checks that may still be outstanding. within will be a fee, but it won't be anything approaching the bounced check fees. also see if you can put a note on the description that no checks are to be ordered. if you have to hold your name on it at smallest try to get rather control over it!

i wish you adjectives the best!
