I understand that cynical items remain on your Credit Report for 7 years after the date of Original Delinquency, but how do I determine when this date incurs? Since the "Date of Last Activity" changes extending the date of deletion on your credit report, how can I determine when items should drop rotten?
Answers: It is seven years after you pay past its sell-by date the debt, the month/year you paid if sour appears on your credit report.
When you look at your credit report, it will clearly mention a date of first delinquency or date reported or something like that. 7 years start from the date of first delinquency reported by imaginative creditor. Usually 90 days late and after is considered as such.
It is NOT 7 years AFTER you hold paid the debt rotten. See the sample credit report.
