I'd close to to know where on earth one files a complaint in the region of how a personal bank situation be handle.?

This is a nationally set bank. And I enjoy done business with them since they open a branch in my hometown.

I applied for a loan and be told I could write my check after 24 hrs. for the paper work to be file. Within two days the bank sent me spy that I was overdrawn by the amount I'd requested. This after was transferred by their counsel to my credit card. Then I received a notice from the credit card division that I have exceeded my credit card limit. This have depleted my savings picture.

Numerous requests for a fact-finding session with the citizens responsible have be agreed to and then never draw from scheduled.

Two separate loan officer have told me that they are the supervisor of the loan department!

When I requested to speak to the man I initially did business next to I was told, "He is no longer next to us."

I can't seem to return with any information from anyone there.

What machinery do I send my concerns to?

Does bill me then hurt my credit?



Answers:   Your best bet is to database a complaint with the Federal Reserve which oversees adjectives banking industry. As a consumer, you hold more rights then most realize.

I would suggest starting near the corporate headquarters of that bank secure. You should be able to find contact information on their website.

You could also try your local Better Business Bureau, or the BBB for the bank's corporate headquarters; I'm not positive which might apply better, in this bag - try local first. Do try the bank's corporate offices first -- if that doesn't work, you can include that information and any correspondence contained by your query to the BBB.
