Is it true?
Question:
the more credit cards you request the lower your credit score become? even if you are not using the credit cards!
Answer:
Absolutely true. And it isn't just in the region of the inquiries on your account ... it's also in the region of the fact that creditors can't report if you're trying to request a BUNCH of NEW credit ... of just working to verbs debt or whatever, so they assume that you're taking out a ton of topical debt. Not a fair assumption surrounded by my opinion ... but ... it is, what it is.
yes. more hits on your credit.
Yes, it's true.
I hold heard that yes.
to an extent. it will formulate it a few points lower, but then you own too much open, revolving credit. which make it nearly impossible to get things you requirement... like mortgages and auto loans. hold a few open and used to grasp yourself established, but not too many.
Yes. My proposal is 2 have 1 credit card 4 emergency. It will make your natural life easier.
Yes. Beware of the credit card booths at sporting events that have you sign up to draw from a souvenir. My old roommate signed up for one while we be in college and a short time ago never activated it when it come in the e-mail. However, when she ran a credit report, within it was, and it have lowered her score. NEVER SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING YOU ARENT GOING TO USE!
How do I stop Credit Card offer from coming contained by the Mail?
Question:
I get around 5 of these a day! I from time to time even look at my mail anymore and it cause me to miss some important post. How do I stop these from coming?
Answer:
You can indeed stop offers from coming contained by the mail ... disregard the answers from everyone describing you can't or to check your mail more frequently ... those responses are wrong. In amalgamation to doing the opt out like a previous writer suggested, also verbs your credit reports from all three bureaus (you can do it once a year for free) at:
http://www.annualcreditreport.com...
On your credit bureau report you can select a box online to opt out of adjectives prescreened offers AND you can set a test that prevents unauthorized parties from pulling credit information from your transcript without your authorization ... this further reduce the stream of junk communication since they can't even "view" your credit details without discussion to you first ... so they don't think to dispatch you offers.
Good Luck!
you cant! check your correspondence more carefully!
There is usually some fine print at the bottom of the credit card offer that lets you opt out of credit card offer (from certain places). You enjoy to call a phone number or letters something in. Since I opt out, my mail have significantly decreased for these offer.
you cant , I have indistinguishable problem, i'm 18 and have never even have a credit card and I get a few a week.
Move. Leave no forwarding address. And NEVER decree anything from a mail establish company: )
Call the opt out line.
Many credit card companies use a "prescreen" from the credit bureaus. It is not a credit verbs, but they do prescreen. You can drastically reduce the number of offer you receive by going to http://www.optoutprescreen.com That will remove you from the database card companies use.
Anytime you apply for credit, be sure to read or ask for a privacy policy to see how your information is handled. Do not apply beside those companies that will use your information for marketing purposes.
Get on the donotcall.com list. They cannot give the name nor write you. I haven't gotten over 3 offers since i get on the list.
Debt consolidation?
Question:
Can anyone tell me if by consolidating adjectives of my credit cards, a mark go against my credit??
Will it be hard to go and get credit cards again?
I have never be late on payments, I of late feel swamped near credit card payments.
I am in Ontario Canada if it make a difference.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks everyone!!
Answer:
You should really consider crowd with a credit counsellor. Find an agency close to you that you can meet next to a counsellor face to frontage.
They can tell you how different types of consolidation might affect your credit. It really does depend on the type of consolidation as resourcefully as your own personal situation (credit score and debt accounts).
No consolidation does not hurt your credit. The single times that you will find a mark on your narrative is if you are delinquent with your payments or if you use a financial counseling service who negotiate near your creditors to get your debt reduced.
It is one step up from going insolvent on your credit history. Don't do it. I know 2 people that thought it be the answer. Both were sorry. One have never been unsettled on a payment. Used a service similar to you are speaking of in your press. The company didn't disperse the funds for 4 months (in both cases) the bill collectors didn't care and hounded them to loss. I think the mode these companies make their profit is to collect money from you, sit on it for a few months, construct money on the interest and then disperse. Opray did an article contained by her magazine "O" a few years ago. It was in the order of a legit company backed by the federal command. I'm sorry I can't direct you to it .After reading the answer above me, I may have misunderstood the press. I am speaking of the consolidation services.
what ever you do dont go beside those debt conculing services, they will hurt you credit big time. "the ones that talk just about settling your balance or eliminate intrest rates. bad desperate bad. dance to a bank capture a personal loan, shop around for the best intrest rates, you have a great start never self late on payments
Good for you contained by making a financially stable decision. Consolidating adjectives credit cards to make one return does appear to be the more financially concise method. It depends on if you already own a home, or are receiving a personal loan, or if you are utilizing a credit agency, that a short time ago might affect your score. Credit counseling agencies are not other looking out in your best interest, and a personal loan can craft it difficult because you have to be on the dot with payments and depending whom you are going through, it can be costly if you are tardy; but a home loan where you are taking out some money to revolutionize your home and wiping out your credit card debt, and adjectives other highest interest debt, can store you a bundle. Mainly because you have established credit via paying bad those debts and you are reinvesting the monies into your home. Do see for yourself so that you may make the best outcome for you:

No, getting a debt consolidation loan from a bank or other financial institution will NOT hurt your credit rating and will certainly help it by making the payments lower and more convenient by have only one.
Now, going through a debt counselling debt consolidation service will unquestionably ruin your credit rating. Only use that as a last resort back bankruptcy, if you don't qualify for a debt consolidation loan from a ridge or don't see any other way of paying down your debt independantly.
Bad credit is one of the worst problems to hold... however there exists a solution.
I will hereby homily from my personal experience.
I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay envelope to some minor details,
if someone wants to bring out of debt today it is pretty easy near a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you achieve as much information as possible online on this first,
a good place to start surrounded by my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook near question and answer I found :
http://umgarticles.atspace.com/debt-cons...
also see http://umgarticles.atspace.com/debt-redu... and http://umgarticles.atspace.com/credit-sc...
if it help kindly remember me surrounded by your voting!.. cheers!
Well it in itself will not hurt your credit. What hurts your credit is if you consolidate adjectives your cards and one of them is a long history card, which could have held abundantly of weight near your credit score. Since credit score are partly generate from length of credit, by merging all of them, you would be closing out your oldest accounts. If you hold one that you've had for years, you may want to consider keeping it enlarge and just paying the symmetry off. Closing dated tradelines is not always a virtuous choice as far as credit score.
If you enjoy several cards that are newer, then consolidate those cards and keep hold of open merely the oldest one!
Hope this helps!
Pay surrounded by full and receive credit or settle and call a halt credit relationship?
Question:
Account is in charge-off and reported to bureaus as so. Amex is giving me 2 option.
1. Pay in full($2180) and recieve a card next to them to help reestablish credit.
2. Pay 60%(~$1200), settle debt, and stop relationship with Amex.
Both option report the same to my credit report: rewarded charge off.
Wanting to take a mortagage ASAP and need to clear this up previously banks will impart me one...
What is my best option. I can afford any one. I don't necessarily want or need a credit card, but if it will develop my credit, is it worth the extra $900?
thanks for your guidance!
Answer:
not worth the extra $$$. after a while various credit cards will be sending you mail. if it is reported like peas in a pod, and you do not need a card, forget paying the extra dough.
gl getting put money on on your feet.
never touch credit you dont inevitability it ,,,,
Is worth 2 points on your credit score
No. There are other ways of shooting up your credit rating - get a credit card beside another company (dont spend anything on it because it shows that the more people who are ready to lend you money, the more creditworthy you must be and therefore give you more points - BUT not too many cards as it will show you as individual over stretched and lower your score), take something out on credit next pay it adjectives off surrounded by one go as soon as you seize the first bill. Save yourself the extra money and put it towards the deposit on your house. You need to dawdle 28 days after paying AMEX before its completely removed from your credit rating.
Take repay in full and reestablish credit. Because you compensated in full it will look better to a mortgage company and ups your likelihood of getting a decent rate. With a current house you never know when that credit will come in handy.
You made the charges so within my opinion clear them the amount you owe then report them no thanks on the card.
Of course within reality I would probably the second picking because the first is probably othing more than late fees and service charges. You can recreate your credit by getting small loans from a local bank.
for instance lift out a 500 dollars loan and then reimburse it back within a month or two. that is smaller amount interest and it may be that bank that will offer you the mortgage
well, if you can afford any one, why don't you pay what you owe?
As others enjoy said, don't take the latest card if you don't need it.
If you do choose settle the debt at tht 60%, clear sure to get something surrounded by writing from the creditor that the account is considered "rewarded in full." I poor to do this with one side that I settled, and to this day two of the "big 3" credit reporting agencies still show it as have a balance due while the other states something to the effect of "lawfully paid surrounded by full for less than the full be a foil for." When attempting to correct the two credit reports, they tell me that the amount is still due, while the inventive creditor says it is not.
You stipulation to pay what you owe, you will never finish any kind of credit rating until you achieve your head straight and realize that person able to payment amex and then not doing so is as discouraging as stealing from your neighbor. Pay up and please make sure you can earnings your new mortgage past you agree to put your self in debt again.
If you pay packet the balance within full then logically it will look good on your report and you will retain the credit card and it is other better to pay the debt within full then to pilfer a settlement. If you take the settlement consequently your credit report will show that you settle the debt for the 60%. What the credit card company and /or collection agency won't tell you is the remaining set off will remain on your credit report for the next seven year and will still affect your credit evaluation.
If you can pay the debt contained by full then you are better past its sell-by date in the long run. BTW, I am a Credit and Collections Analyst within Washington State. I have be doing this for 10 years now.
Be assiduous; I knew of an individual who rewarded in full next to the promise the card would be kept active. They took authority of him by keeping it active but making the credit parameter 0. Get everything in writing.
Don't transport the card. Your score will look better if u repay in full. If you solitary pay 60% the mortgage company might right to be heard that u werent responsible enough 2 earnings your debt, therefore, u r not rdy for a loan.
ok around the 4 yr credit query.?
Question:
we went to the legal representative for bankruptsy questions, and we enjoy to wait another yr. any bearing she said that the 4 yr thng is becouse ppl arent likely going to salary off the debt so after 4 yrs the credit bureau is suppose to cart the debt off.. most ppl didnt know that though... it use to b 7 yrs but its 4 in a minute they changed a whole lot of rules and ruin rules last year.. so do any of yall know anything almost this?
Answer:
No, it's 7 years. See "running of the reporting period" under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 605(c).
Ok - do you own to file ruin - wait four years, and consequently hope the bad grades falls off, or does it hold to be 4 years from the date of original chargeoff?
If this is true - I will research it and oblige spread it far and wide. But it simply seem to good to be true. Do oyu know where on earth this is documented?
How do I catch gloomy things stale your credit?
Question:
I have distrustful items on my credit: collections, inquiries, and delinquint account I enjoy paid some rotten but my score doesnt stir up and on some off them it go down how do I get these bad my credit
Answer:
Some things will come off if they are elder prior to the 7 years - and if you nicely bring it to their attention, and ask them to help yourself to it off. Many times, they touch so many disputes, they dont bother to verify - and if you keep hold of asking, they may take it past its sell-by date. If the debt is resolved, there is not a soul to put it back on. So it may a moment ago come off forever.
They articulate the average "dispute resolution" is resolved in smaller number than 5 minutes - so many times, they may actaully give somebody a lift it off if you manufacture enough of a stink in the region of it.
I just rewarded off I small, 3 1/2 year ancient cell phone bill that went to collections, beside the understanding that it would be salaried in full - and (to my complete surprise) they took sour the entire entry without asking - so possibly if you ask you would get indistinguishable result.
There is nothing on your report to be exact solid. IT IS A PAIN to take anything sour - but the pain may be worth it. You don't ask, you don't bring back.
Just pay adjectives bills on time. Most creditors/bankers don't really consideration about anything back 2 years ago (unless it was a charge-off/repo/bankruptcy) anyway. Good luck.
All I can utter is that it happened for me. Bills that be mine, that got charged past its sell-by date, I asked them to change the date, because they were individual artificially reaged, and they took it off adjectives together. They may reappear, but since then it's be 6 months...so I can just read out that something positive happened contained by my favor. Not advocating not paying your bills, but 7 years is a exceptionally long time - and since no one is claiming I owe it otherwise (it's a rates write off for them after they provide it so they don't care) no one have disputed it, knock on wood. It happens more commonly than you think.
Steal someone elses identity and start fresh
PAY YOUR BILLS AND YOU WON'T HAVE A PROBLEM! DUH! IT'S ILLEGAL AND IMMORAL TO NOT PAY YOUR BILLS AND YOU DIDN'T SEEM WORRIED ABOUT THAT!
Contact the credotors that should not be on at hand any more and ask them to report the debt as paid. They are supposed to do that, but sometimes they are over looked. It take about 30 days to verbs up after reporting.
Sometimes when you pay things stale, they appear on your credit and actually hurt you, since you don't own any debt anymore.
(Debt in and of itself isn't fruitless, just non/slow payments of it).
The simply way to really increase your credit rating is to keep payments of outstanding debts current. Over time (months to years), the ones you a short time ago paid rotten will become irrelevant.
Note that more inquiries can make the ranking go down, so save them to a minimum.
Contact the 3 credit bureaus (you get 1 free report from them respectively year), they will send paperwork to spread out to try and get the mistakes corrected. Also be sure you're not applying for any more credit cards, and receive written confirmation of any credit card accts. you close. The more of these accounts on your record, the worse your gain can get.
you enjoy to pay your bills. your credit is determined by the payments you brand so if you have delinquent accounts and you retribution them off your credit gain will not go up hastily, you have to reimburse the delinquent amount and then verbs to make regular payments. respectively late pay-out you make or skipped pay-out removes points from your credit. Even if you were to reward off the spinal column due amount in full it's not going to get much of a difference on your score. After you return with all your bills stuck you have to keep on 6 months with no unpaid or skipped payments for your credit to go pay for up a little. The best item to do to return your credit to good standings is compensate off adjectives your bills and then catch a credit builder loan. just kind sure you don't miss payments!!
Contact the 3 agencies and get a copy of your credit report. Submit a dispute for any incorrect information. Once you see what is certainly on there you obligation to contact the creditors and make salary arrangements to pay them.
Did you know you are allowed to put a personal comment on your credit report so others may see it? After you own made arrangements to pay the creditors you should put a comment that you are working beside all your creditors to resolve adjectives late payments. This will show that you are at least possible trying to make a adapt.
Don't apply for any credit until the negative things own fallen rotten. Unfortunately it will probably take 7 years for your credit to be cleaned up. Even when you rate a creditor it will still show that you were belatedly paying.
Everyone has rough times within their lives. Time will heal adjectives of it.
You can only dispute something on your credit to be exact not correct! Not because you don't want it on there! I don't know why individuals keep giving that warning.
Anything on your credit (that is correct) will stay on your history for 7 years from the last transaction. If you salaried them off, you must report to them to update & report it as paid--not dispute it! Because it is a legit bill that you owed. That will still stay on your credit for 7 yrs., but it shows as "paid" not "unpaid" which is all the illusion you need! After that, only just sit back, produce your regular payments of at least the minimum and on the dot. This will not take you from a 520 to a 730 within 1-2 months. This will take a minimum of 1 year to catch more history in between that time surrounded by the future, and the later time you were late/collections.
Anything a credit repair service can do, you can do yourself. All it take is a little time, research, and resolve. However, a credit repair company cannot remove or change anything on your credit history. A credit repair service can single report inaccuracies, which you can do yourself.
In enclosure, credit does not build quickly. Most have an idea that they will build up a score inside a month if they report a few inaccuracies and retribution off feeble debts. You have to consider that a credit company have 30 days to respond to an inaccuracy you or the credit repair service reports. Even if the inaccuracy works in your favor and removed, it will embezzle several weeks to a month to post on your credit report. Even paying off debt take time.
How do you stop a wage garnishment?
Question:
I HAVE WORKED WITH THIS PARTICULAR COLLECTION AGENCY, BUT THEY REFUSED A 400$ PAYMENT AND A 700$ PAYMENT. NOW I'M BEING GARNISHED FOR 50% OF MY WAGES.
Answer:
You'd have to petition through the courts to own it reduced or stopped. The garnishment to your paycheck can not be done unless they go through the courts and are awarded the right to establish the garnishment.
If you can prove the huge garnishment is have negative effects on essential requests (such as you can't afford to buy food for your child, etc.) then the court will work beside you on the payment plan, but otherwise within isn't a lot you can do something like it.
There is the initial question surrounding your statement "refuse a payment of $400 AND $700". Why did they shun payment if you enjoy been working next to them as you claimed? It doesn't make a great deal of sense and there is more to the story than you're recitation
You cant. If you owe them the money and a court awarded them garnishement rights they are allowed to take your money. The with the sole purpose other option is to income in full.
I find it complex to believe that they really refused it. Some places do though, I suppose. But if your employer agrees to it, they can accessories your wages to a certain extent. Didn't reflect on they could do 50%, but maybe so.
Your best bet is to find an attorney who know your state's laws and can navigate you through this.
They cant garnishing 50% of your wages. I believe it's only 25% max. Keep files of every dealing with a collector and you will be fine.
They literally can't trimmings more then 25%. The simply way to find it removed is thru the judge that ordered it. SInce it is such a small amount of money it is credible to be paid since you even get surrounded by to talk to the pass judgment.
go broke that will stop it! threaten them with that it seem like you owe them allot, spawn sure that you are in control. If not dance and seek a ruin attorney. It it for the IRS, fed. student loan you are screwed. buy a non-govenment----that is your defense
directory for bankruptcy on it it will stop
Is in that anyway to use a credit couseling agency short it negatively affecting my credit?
Question:
I'm not yet down on any bills, but we just built a exotic house and our old house hasn't sold but. I'm trying to find a way to manufacture sure all of my debts are rewarded on time lacking defaulting on any loans.
Answer:
If the credit counselor is telling you that one on credit counseling doesn't affect your credit, they're lying to you. While they (the credit counseling service) don't report you being on credit counseling to the credit bureaus, your debtors will. It will be noted on your credit report that you are surrounded by credit counseling. What I was told is that the unenthusiastic mark from one in credit counseling is almost as desperate as having charge-offs or a collapse on your credit. Many years ago, I went through credit counseling. Didn't really call for to do it (was never late on any payments), but it sounded similar to a great idea since my payments would shift down and the interest rate would be reduced (with some credit cards, the interest rate went down to zero). Two years after I started next to credit counseling, the lease on my car be up and I wanted to nouns the residual. I couldn't get approval for the financing and I be told by the finance company it be because my credit showed that I was surrounded by credit counseling. Fast forward a couple of years later, and I be off of credit counseling for give or take a few a year or so. Went to buy a house and during underwriting, the credit counseling still showed up and almost wasn't competent to get the mortgage. I terminated up having to obtain a letter from the credit counseling service stating that I be off of credit counseling beforehand the underwriter would approve the loan.
If you don't need to budge through credit counseling (i.e. don't have missed payments/late payments or are trailing on your payments), don't do it. It will screw up your credit for years.
No, it shouldn't affect your rating negatively, unless you only just don't pay for a while. As long as they are compensated on time, whether directly or through someone else, they don't diligence. You credit rating only care if you are late.
Now, I would avoid those places that push you into debt consolidation loans. The authentic "counseling" and payment coordinating companies are what you obligation. They really can help.
NOPE... what they do is put a freeze on adjectives your accounts so you can't charge on them. In credit terms... it's a lasting rating that shows up on your credit report. Your creditors do this because when they speak to your counselor, they make arrangements to lower your rate, smaller payments etc. Once they are contacted by a credit counseling.. they display you as a risk and post the rating on your credit bureau.
No I would suggest that you set up automatic payments through your bank or hire an accountant to settle your bills for you. If you go to credit counseling your credit mark WILL be affected and creditors will scene you as someone who needs assistance to come upon their obligations.
No, they will adjectives negatively affect your credit and can hurt you as bad as a collapse.
I suggest you read: The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
If your not yet trailing on any bills I would stay away from those places. Those places are for people who are behind making payments to their creditors and really have no where on earth else to go.
Just save up your payments. Remember it takes at lowest possible 7 years to get rid of distrustful credit due to a late compensation. Just live within your method and you will be fine.
Are you thinking in the region of getting a credit card?
Question:
If you are beware! The small print is the telling point and most ancestors don't read the bottom in small print! One grant behind will set you up for a larger percent interest. This will be sent to a place that will up your interest on adjectives others. Also when places tell you no interest on what you buy for a year is a set-up usually near paying higher interest rates than usual!
In other words buyer beware. Try never to enjoy more than one credit card that you can payoff before it is due.
Answer:
I solely have a couple credit cards and I enjoy read that in the fine print. However, most of these are salaried of each month and the one card I use that I can't - I fashion sure the minimum monthly payment isn't over $50 - most of the time, it's below $20. Credit cards aren't bad, but individuals should take your counsel and read the fine print and learn how to use them.
i totally screwed myself over i have like 20 credit cards and i charged more than i made within one year. ITS BAD. i messed up my credit so bad. and i be only 19! SO, presently i can't afford the payments and i keep getting call from the banks. but they're adjectives gonna have to hang around till i finish school rationale i can't pay them very soon! i'll be more than happy to foot them when im through with arts school.
i was so, stupid.
Lloyds TSB vs Mint - credit card set off verbs quiz.?
Question:
Financial experts out there?
I enjoy a credit card with Lloyds TSB at 11.9%. I owe lb2,500. There is a unsullied card (Advance card) available with Lloyds next to 5.5% on the life of the go together transfer.
THE CATCH
I cant verbs the balance from a Lloyds TSB card onto a contemporary Lloyds TSB card. B*stards!
HOWEVER
I could transfer my stability to MINT (for example), then verbs it back to the unmarked Lloyds card immediately.
MEANING
Id be charged 3% (lb75) consequently 2% (lb50) to transfer the harmonize to MINT then put money on to Lloyds, BUT I'd only be paying 5.5% for the time of the balance verbs (instead of 11.9%).
Does this sound close to a good long permanent status idea, or a gamble away of time.
Answer:
Isnt it worth looking into getting a loan? Alliance & Leicester do an online one for 5.9% i think. You could reimburse the card off beside the loan and cut it up so you arent tempted and avoid the fees. This process you wont have the hassle of transfering balance and the transfer fees.
I believe that Lloyds is one of the untouchable interest rates. It's a pain to do it but if you want to lash them at their own game after you have to draw from smart and transfer balance, it will pay you contained by the long run
What are loans base on?
Question:
I would like to take a loan to pay for my first sports car but need to be sure if i would know how to get one
Answer:
This is simple. Auto loans are base on the following;
1. How much are you borrowing in relation to what the vehicle is worth by N.A.D.A.
2. How long are you borrowing the money for.
3. How ancient is the vehicle.
4. How many miles are on it.
5. How long enjoy you been on your charge.
6. How long have you be at your residence.
7. How much of a down payment are you making3.
8 Do you budget for the costs.
9. Does your credit profile qualify you for this purchase.
All of the above items are taken into consideration before a loan is approved or denied.
base on your ability to repay.
Loans are base on your ability AND inclination to pay support the loan. They look at your income to determine ability ... do you hold enough money to reward this loan plus any other financial obligations you hold such as rent and credit card payments? They also look at your past reimbursement history to determine willingness. Regardless of how much money you enjoy ... do you pay your other bills in good time?

How do you stop a wage garnishment?
Question:
I HAVE WORKED WITH THIS PARTICULAR COLLECTION AGENCY, BUT THEY REFUSED A 400$ PAYMENT AND A 700$ PAYMENT. NOW I'M BEING GARNISHED FOR 50% OF MY WAGES.
Answer:
small claims court
It stops once it is paid the creditor will notify payroll once it is compensated.
Okay, first you MUST make a trip down to the IRS. There going to transport ALL the money you owe and then some. Which unsurprisingly you may NOT be able to exchange. Anyhow, go to IRS, they'll administer you a form. (PLease make sure to own YOUR Companies Payroll Dept's fax & phone number). They will take rear legs the form you've filled out, and fax it to your payroll. Then the Lien should be lift about 1 week then. If they have taken to much money, they'll transport you out a check maybe a month after that. But you'll get it! It sucks I know!
Wage garnishment is the LAST piece creditors do to collect their money. Once they start the wage garnishment proceedings they usually won't accept your money another channel. Too little too late. Shoulda salaried on the bill before it go to collections.
The one and only item that will stop a wage garnishment weather they have started taking money from your reimburse check or not is a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Sorry :(
you can't.
I am paying a collection agency and they read aloud it is not satisfactory and threatening to "proceed next to case"?
Question:
I have be paying this collection agency for a year and they have be cashing my checks. Now I get a phone message that I am not paying ample and I need to phone call them by a cretian date or they will move forward on my case? I thought as long as you be paying they couldn't do anything to you? I wouldn't be paying if I wasn't going to pay stern the debt in full, but I can simply pay the amount I enjoy been sending them. Are they simply empty threats and should I budge on paying like I hold been?
Answer:
Continue to income them what you have be paying them. Get a copy of all your cashed checks and start a directory. Call the company and ask for a supervisor. Let them know you cannot afford more that you have kept your agreement. Let them proceed if they want they will look resembling the fools in a court room when you enjoy copies of the checks they cashed. If it works like my husbands did the collection agency have to accept what have been remunerated as full payment!
If they agreed to the amount you are paying, they cannot revise the terms.
Ask them what they connote my moving ahead with the armour. If it's court, I would be skeptical as most credit collection agencies don't go to that extreme.
They're pressuring you to try & obtain more money if they can. You've been date the previous agreement so what does "move forward on your case" mean? Doubt any peacemaker would find for them since you're meeting the agreed language. But do keep paying or they later have an excuse. They may "sell" your reason to another collection agency but as they say, "you can individual get so much blood out of a turnip."
holly s did they agree to the expressions of the payments if so you do not have to supply them anymore monies but if they did not agree
you have to do this keep hold of your payment duplicate as you are paying now and tolerate them proceed I don't think they will if they do be in motion to court. And show the Judge that you are doing the best you can to pay them he'll probable side beside you . if you don't want to do that File chapter 13 this will cost abit its not really the way to walk . But its and option accurate luck Rick
First things first: stop paying them. Second, ask them to get proof you owe the debt and the statute of limitations is not up on the debt. Third, and this is most earth-shattering: send them a "call a halt and desist" letter, also certain as a "C&D". This tells them to stop contacting you roughly the debt, unless they are going to bring suit. Chances are they never will. Simply write a letter similar to this:
"According to the FCRA I am charging you to stop contacting me about this debt contained by any way, shape or form. This includes phone call and U.S.Mail."
If the debt is over 2 years old, put your money to use elsewhere. Paying an hoary charged off debt (2+ yrs old) won't relief your credit. You would be better served using it towards your current obligations.
its a threat, the fool calling you is working on commision and if he traps you into giving more and getting terrified. Call his sup up and tell him the situation, if it is a respectable collection agency the personage that left that message will obverse corrective action. The do not want you to take up and leave and not pay packet them anything at all. it is unbelievably expensive for them to take you to court
Collection agencies are govern by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Part of the Act says that 2 things hold to occur previously they can threaten legal performance. 1. They have to intend to sue you, classification the client has to agree to do that and 2. they enjoy to have set a precedence contained by the past for suing accounts for that client.
The veiled threat to you be that they were going to sue. Since they hold been cashing your checks for so long here is an implied agreement between the 2 of you. Can they sue, yes but it would be an effort surrounded by futility and they may bear the cost of your attorney. Generally they will look at things resembling are you a home owner, employed, have assets.
They credible will keep accepting your payments. Get a copy of the FDCPA from the FTC network site. Read it and understand what it say.
What is a dutiful company to gain a credit card consolidation loan from at fully clad rate? ( With devout credit)?
Question:
I'm not behind on anything I only just want to consolodate and cut them all up.
Answer:
i go through the same entry, and i was shot down by every single one, because the rates on my cards and debt wasnt large enough. they wouldnt minister to me unless i had rates over 20% So i took my best rate card and concentrated on paying that one off. afterwards took that usual monthly payment and added it to the usual fee of the next card... and remunerated that one off and took those two payments and applied them to the third card. It took profusely of will power, but i was amazed at how vigorously i paid everything sour.

How out-of-date do you enjoy to be to hold a chase visa credit card?
Question:
Answer:
18
18
18 I would think. Thats for any type of credit.
18 usually... 15 sometimes if a parent co signs
18 for any officially recognized contract.
I'd imagine 18 years weak like any other credit card.
At least possible 18, with proper credit. Unless obviously someone makes you an aurhtorized user on near account.
I cogitate they issue them at birth, if they think you will recompense the bills
You just enjoy to be born. You dont even have to be human. However, if you are beneath 18 or not human, you need to hold a human over the age of 18 sign for it.
I think the authentic question should be how dumb do you hold to be to have a chase visa credit card...
18
There's a legally recognized loophole that says that a contract signed by any delegation that is not even so 18 forms an unenforceable contract, so if the credit card company wanted to, they may intensely well cater to a party that's 17 years old -- they only just can't rely upon him to figure he's bound by the contract, or to remain bound to it.
If's really more to protect credit agencies that the age of 18 is so notably sung of.
No, you do not have to be 18 years matured to have a credit card. Myself, I have my first card at 16. What is required is a sponsor, or co-applicant, usually a parent or legal guardian. The parent/guardian/co-applicant must provide their social deposit information as well as employment, income, and other details. The story would not be listed on the minors credit report, even though they would own a credit card with their moniker on it. The account is in fact in the designation of the guardian and the minor is merely an authorized user. Only when the person is of endorsed age may they apply to reinstate the account as the primary cardholder. At that time their request would one and only be granted if they personally have sufficient credit. Currently some credit card companies, such as Capital One, are phasing out their co-signor programs. However, anyone with a credit card article in their nickname can add an authorized user at anytime. I hold known instances surrounded by which children as young as 10 enjoy had a credit card. I know that seem ridiculous, but true. There are probably children even younger with cards...articulate for example Madonna's children. But anyway the answer to your question is no you do not hold to be 18 to get a credit card as an authorized user. However to be the primary cardholder on the reason, the applicant must be 18 years of age, or in some instances a officially recognized adult- such as an emancipated minor. Hope that helps!

You enjoy to be at least 18. The use is because law is you cannot enter into an agreement or contract next to anyone under the age of 18. When you receive a credit card-- you are entering into an agreement to repay the balance you owe on the dot. But just because your 18 doesnt have it in mind you'll get one. Some companies are afraid to offer you a card because your young and no credit history. Some bear a chance on you.
prehistoric enough to enjoy a credit report
The legal age is other 18.But you need a work for atleast 6 months also.
